OMG this show!  This episode far surpassed anything I was hoping for in terms of incredible gayness.  It was so gay.  So very, very gay.  And adorable.  And they are absolutely perfect together and delightful in every way.  OMG, OMG, OMG!

And now ... onto detailed squeeing behind the cut ...

1.  I love how handsy Jane was at the dock.  Not only was she rubbing her girlfriends back supportively, but she also totally worked in thigh caressing as well.  I SAW WHAT YOU DID THERE, Rizzoli!  Like it wasn't just a quick rub either, Jane's hand lingered on Maura's upper thigh through the line delivery and was still there when the camera was panning away.  Girlfriend practically took up permanent residence on Maura's thigh.

2.  I'm going to mention Jane rocking the Olivia Dunham butchiness walking around with her hands in her pocket all episode (check out the scene when they first arrive at the Fairfields house).  And not only that, but Jane rocked it extra butch by just sticking her thumbs in the pocket.  Oh, hello sexy as hell mannerisms.  Please feel free to stay for as long as you like (which with Angie Harmon means forever!)

3.  Jealous!Jane is as awesome as I thought she would be.  Her rant to Maura "Maybe tonight you could attend the opera with some senators, and then afterwards go out on the veranda and smoke big rolled up wads of hundreds" was pure genius.  I felt bad for the girls in this scene though, they looked like they had no idea what was going on but couldn't stop themselves.  Obviously their first major fight with each other since hooking up.  Maura's "WTF" face at the end of the scene was hilarious and heartbreaking.

4.  Jane and Maura using Korsack as an inbetween for them ... so incredibly couple-y.  Seriously, they (especially Jane) were acting like high schoolers.  I loved Korsack's "Acquainted?  I heard it was a little more than that," because the line totally insinuates that Jane is jealous of a former romantic partner of Maura's, and why would that be the case unless she was Maura's current romantic partner.

5.  I loved Jane bringing Maura chocolate (with gold flecks in it).  And Maura's dazzling smile when she thought it was an apology.  I've never seen Maura smile so brightly.  You know she was looking forward to hot make-up sex later that night.  Her face just scream, "Yay, I can take your clothes off again and bathe you with my tongue!"

Also, I love that when thinking of ways to make things up to Maura, Jane's mind automatically goes to diamonds.  It seems to be like Jane's ready for a bigger commitment but is scared to admit that Maura might be the one for her.  It's especially telling because right after that comment Jane makes her 'what are you doing slumming it down here with us' comment.  Methinks, that after seeing the world Maura came from Jane is feeling insecure about what kind of future she can offer Maura, and why Maura would want to settle down with her when she could have had a billionaire.  Oh, Jane you make me want to hug you.

6.  Maura, Maura, Maura.  Just because Jane is complicated and your fighting it doesn't mean that you should test out your theory that things would be easier with someone simple like Garrett by awkwardly kissing him in fancy cars.  You need to have more faith in your relationship.  As this episode proved, Jane has your back, and you have far more in common with her than with your old set of friends, even though you are very different on the surface.

7.  The scene where Maura asked Jane out on a date was precious and full of win in every way.  Angie and Sasha even managed to make Maura talking about Garrett super gay by gazing at each other lovingly the whole time.  After Maura was like, "I loved that guy," I could practically hear her saying, "but not as much as I love you" in the way they looking at each other.

8.  That weggie scene just really cracked me up.  Maura looked so horrified.  Classic, "I can't take you anywhere" face.  Angie was comedy gold in that whole dinner party scene really.  I loved when Maura handed Jane her champagne glass the way Jane was looking at her hands all confused trying to figure out a way to drink from her glass while holding Maura's.  Maura taking away Jane's champagne glass was also a pure girlfriend move.  And the whole fish scene, culminating with jane stabbing hers was hilarious.

Also, I'd like to give a shout out to the older blonde extra lady sitting next to Angie in that scene cause she cracked me up.  The way she kept on shooting dirty, disbelieving looks at Jane was perfect.

9.  I loved Jane in the scene in the lab when Jane was trying to comfort Maura.  After making up with her girlfriend and have some great make-up sex, Jane was finally in an emotional position where she could speak of Garrett without feeling threatened.  Also, the way Jane spoke to Maura in that scene, the tone of her voice totally made me swoon.  And the, "Sweetie, I don't know why you're telling me this" followed by Jane caressing Maura's shoulder again.  FTW!

10.  The date scene at the end.  So cute.  Jane looked so proud of herself for the beer in champagne glasses idea.  I have to admit, I would have put out right there for her because i thought it was super cute and sweet.  Also, I'm sure Jane would like to 'spucky' you later, Maura!

Seriously, that was a super cute, super gay episode.  This show is owning me more and more with every episode.  Obviously, I can't wait for next week!

THIS. All this. Jane so had her hands all over her GF, you just knew that they went for the run after some hot morning loving! And her open, obvious jealousy, and insecurity about Maura's past. Why are we still calling it subtext when the GHEY is practically jumping at our face?

And the gay just keeps getting gayer.

Does anyone actually believe they're interested in anyone else besides each other? Because my roommates usually just laugh at me and telling me I'm reaching or I'm reading too much into my ships, but they're totes on my side on this one. Just like with Cara and Kahlan. ♥ TV has been subtle!gay recently. More than usual.

Not that I'm complaining.

This show is just too perfect. I don't even need all the cop stuff, they could just sit in a bar drinking wine and beer all day while bantering with each other.

Also, the writers can't possibly back this show out of the gay hole they've dug themselves into now. Every time I see a glimpse of straight, I start to get Mean Girls quotes in my head. "Stop trying to make the hetero happen! It's not going to happen!"

Maura: Garrett's here. He's always liked the finer things in life.
Jane: Yeah, he liked you.

I mean, come now girls!

Seriously, how good is this show? I normally don't do back handsprings over cop dramas but I really do enjoy the hell out of this show and these ladies.

This episode far surpassed anything I was hoping for in terms of incredible gayness.

OMG have you seen the promo for next week? That's like solid gold fanservice

So cute! She's totally upgraded at least, cause you know Maura is about 1000x awesomer than any Joey Grant-esque boy Angela bullied into taking Jane to the prom.

Maura to Jane, "Just put it down," ab champagne glass = priceless.

I loved that part so much. And I loved that Jane just let her do it without complaint. Maura has her wrapped around her little finger.

I can't believe they actually go undercover gay. Wow.

I know, that's gonna be super awesome and hilarious. I can't wait.

I know! She was so super handsy. And with her talk of true love, you know that being with Maura is totally softening her up.

Why are we still calling it subtext when the GHEY is practically jumping at our face?

I know, right. At this time I cannot NOT view them as a couple. I'm just assuming it's a Cameron/Mitchell (Modern Family) situation where they are totally together but just haven't kissed on screen.

Believe it or not there are poor, delusional people out there who do. I've had to boycott going to the televisionwithoutpity board for the show because they are such haters. There are people on there who actually think that Angie and Sasha don't have chemistry together, like at all

Very true, and like you I'm not complaining at all. Thank god for this show, it's filled a little of the crater that the cancellation of Legend smashed into my heart.

They really are, in every possible way. It becomes more glaringly obvious every episode.

Me too! The cop cases are so not what I tune in for. It's the character interactions all the way. And not just Jane and Maura. I really enjoyed the Maura/Korsack interactions and the Frost/Maura/Korsack field trip this episode. But of course, I could totally watch Maura and Jane go on play dates together and hanging out for 42 minutes every week.

Maura: Garrett's here. He's always liked the finer things in life.
Jane: Yeah, he liked you.

I loved that line! I can't believe I forgot to mention it. My eyebrows shot up, "I was like really Jane? Really? You're not even trying to be subtle" lol

Word. The "crimes" on the show are pretty much meaningless to me, I'm there for the ladies and the gay.

I hope that the episode lives up the preview. I know it's not be as super gay as I hope it will be, but I still hope that it's gay as hell

HaHa!! I love your 'queer-colored glasses' analysis because, honestly, I was pretty much 'heh, that was so gay' every other moment I kinda forgot what actually happened! especially after they showed the preview for next week.

Okay, this episode... I mean, whether it was intentional or not, but I couldn't think of them as anything but a couple.

Heck if you pause this just right it looks like Angie, ha! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7XdyPks10o

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bh6gpAOs5PU&NR=1 - Cute interview with Sasha too. She's on it 3 mins 30 secs in.
