There seems to be very little gray in this trailer when it comes to Morgana, but at least she seems like she'll be interesting this year and Katie's hair looks AMAZING!

Date: 2010-09-02 06:39 am (UTC)My thoughts exactly! Especially more Morgana/Morgause, intense, incestuous interactions. I'm really hoping that they get a decent amount of screen time. They are fascinating together. Morgause's two episodes are the only season 2 ones I can watch repeatedly. Emilia Fox is amazing in the role.
I am shocked by the lack of Gwen in the trailer though. From spoilers I've read I know that there's stuff going on with her, but I guess they just wanted to set up the main arc of Morgana being evil in the trailer because it's flashier than the Gwen stuff. But you'd think they still could have a spared a second just to show her!

I know the trailer was Morgana focused, but don't tell me there wasn't a second long shot of Morgana and Gwen near each other that they could have used. I think this season is going to be a tragic disappointment for Morgana/Gwen fans.
And the walk in the cape was effing hot. Evil!Morgana is going to make so many people's pants happy!

I've read in the spoilers that the Gwen/Morgana friendship is pretty much done (for season 3 anyway), which is sad. They're so cute together, but I guess it wouldn't be kosher for Morgana to be cute and evil. Personally, I think they could pull it off. Gwen could be Morgana's soft spot. Oh, wait, she already is. ;)

Date: 2010-09-02 06:44 am (UTC)Ouch. That is low. I totally understand though. I'm going in with damn low expectations as well. Really, I'm just showing up for Morgana getting to be badass, and Morgana/Morgause interaction. So, hopefully the show won't disappoint on those two aspects.
I know Gwen's got some stuff going on, but honestly the Gwen spoilers didn't sound too captivating. I think this is going to be another disappointing season for Gwen fans. The think the writer's really have no idea what to do with her.
