Solid episode.

I love the Bo/Kenzi friendship more and more every episode.  They are wonderful BFFs, and really work together/play off of each other really well.  Kenzi waking Bo up in the morning was the hilarious (Bo handled being woken up by a popsicle to the face better than I would have) and Kenzi's cure's for heartbreak were pure gold.  I'd love to be able to just smash up an old car in the middle of nowhere when I was feeling blue.

There was Lauren (yay!) but not enough of her (boo).  The scene between Lauren and drunk!Bo was cute though (Bo being all 'if you're looking for sex I'm the best at it' was pretty funny).  Also, Lauren did that sexy thing with her tongue again, which makes the scene a keeper.  And, of course, I heart Kenzi for immediately shipping Bo/Lauren once she saw them interact which each other.  This "Lauren's human so I'll kill her if I sleep with her thing" better start being addressed in a more proactive way though, cause I want my Bo/Lauren on-screen smooches and I'm not enjoying the cock-blocking going on (okay, I am, but I'd like it more without the cock-blocking).

*has Rachel/Ivy Hollows flashbacks ...

...curls into fetal ball and waits for the bad remembers to go away*

Bo's sexcapades cracked me up.  Walking out of the pub like a pimp with people hanging off both arms.  And then the look in her eyes and the smile on her face when she mentioned coming up with a 'safe word' was pure sex.  And of course Bo literally pouncing on them, and then the moaning and structural damage to the house was quite amusing.  Poor Kenzi.  If Bo keeps it up, Kenzi probably isn't going to try to set her up anymore!  "I'll get my earplugs" indeed!

I disliked Dyson this episode.  Dislocating the shoulder of a teenage suspect, trying to humiliate the department shrink who's just doing her job and bitching out his boss were all very fail.  Dyson's man!angst =

no1curr!

I felt much about Dyson this episode as I felt about Lee Adama for all of BSG and I don't want to have to go through that again.

It was cool learning what type of Fae Dyson's partner was.  There were some nice Greek mythology elements in this episode.  The Furies special effects were pretty neat, though they didn't really seem all that scary TBH.

How the plot of the week resolved itself was kind of stupid, but whatever.

Looking forward to next week, though I am displeased that I didn't see Lauren in the promos.  I'm hoping that this is just shoddy promo-making however, because I am not a fan of only getting to see my darling, she who lights up my life, my sun and stars, my one true love Dr. Lauren every other week.

Thanks to the nice people up thread, I was *finally* able to see the episode!! The show seems to be getting better and better each week.

his "Lauren's human so I'll kill her if I sleep with her thing" better start being addressed in a more proactive way though..

While there definitely needs to be more Lauren, I kinda like what they're doing with the setup. Each week, the show's been progressing more and more in regards to Bo's sexuality and, this week, they showed Bo not only likes the girls, she likes getting busy with them. Bo finally realizing she can have sex without killing people, it's kinda like she's regressed emotionally. Well, technically, she's kind of teenager right now in that aspect since she's never experienced it before. Once Bo gets her ya-ya's out, I hope presume she'll want to seek some actual emotional intimacy along with the sex. Which is where Lauren fits in, and I'm pretty certain Dyson's lying is going to play into this as well.

I disliked Dyson this episode.

Haha, after he dislocated the kid's shoulder, I spent all the Dyson parts finding something else to do.. like get desert, or another drink!! It worked out really well because I've definitely had my fill of man!angst. While I like the actor who plays Dyson, I do feel like the show is teetering into 'way too much Dyson' territory. And, really, with all the angst Bo's carrying around, do we *really* need ANOTHER character wangsting around?

I'm so glad it's getting better and better. I didn't love the second episode, but last week and this week were really good. I'm so hooked on this show and I couldn't be happier about it.

You make such a good argument! And intellectually I know you're right, Lauren just makes my pants so happy that I want to see more and more of her. I can be patient though, especially since I totally think you're right about Bo's real first emotional relationship being with Lauren and that is very relevant to my interests.

I'm at my man!angst limit. I nearly rolled my eyes out of my head with the Dyson crap this episode. I like Kris Holden-Reid too, but they are definitely falling into the 'too much Dyson' trap (though the straight girls love him to bits so I'm sure his elevated screen time is due to that). It's like, I don't want Bo to be Angsty McAngsterson, but if I'm gonna be seeing someone struggling and growing and occasionally angsting on Lost GIRL, I want it to be Bo.
