- Frankie is a whiny, emo, ASSHOLE ... but she could still tap it.  I'mma be honest about it.  I wouldn't take her out in public ... but I would take her.

- Tess and Lou are quickly becoming my favorite ship.  I was giving Lou some serious side-eye at the beginning of the episode, but by the end of the episode all was forgiven and I was squeeing with delight when Lou finally ... uh, shall we say 'took the plunge'.  Also, they always get the funniest material.  Tess doing the interview had me LMAO.  *sigh*  Tess.  I heart her so much.

- I also like Cat and Lady!Cop (Sam?) because they were adorable awkward instead of painfully awkward this week.  Lady!Cop is actually really funny, and reasonable (must be such a nice change for Cat after Frankie), and chivalrous.  Plus, I like her swagger and the fact that she makes Cat smile.  I haven't given up on Frankie/Cat as an endgame, but I'm fully onboard with Cat/Lady!Cop for the foreseeable future.

- I think Frankie/Sadie is going to be interesting, if only for the fact that Sadie seems as insane as Frankie is.  I feel like their destructive brand of crazy should be contained and feel better about the emotional health of the women of Glasgow with them focusing their crazy on each other.  Also, they should have lots more sex scenes.

And now it is late and I must sleep ... *sigh*  Why is it not the weekend yet?

Me LOVE Tess&Lou THE BEST,totally agree with you,they're the cutest!!!At first I thought Lou's playing with Tess,that made me really angry with her,but after her confession&crying,I felt something for her.Also she's like the prettiest girl on the show,you can't blame me for liking her !!

I don't really care about Frankie,i think I'm getting tired of her craziness,i don't know...maybe she reminds me The L Word or something~~She and Sadie can be crazy together and leave other sane people alone~~that's more interesting than she shagging random people or messing with Cat~

Sam grew on me,i don't usually dig this type of woman,but she's funny and really really good for Cat after all this shit Cat's been through~~oh,and the sex,she's a natural,i mean compare to Frankie,does anybody notice that Frankie's sex scene always looks kinda awkward,the way she moves,i think it's too much you know~~~

After episode 2 I'm allll about Cat/Sam. Or really, Sam. Sam is awesome and she and Cat were hot together, without trying too hard. And Cat was just much more human this ep.

I have to admit, there was a moment with Lou and Tess where my jaw dropped. Man, if BBC America ever picks up this series that's going to get cut real quick.

Frankie, enh, too much acting out, though her uncle is horrible.

Lou seemed a desperate cause at the beginning of the episode and I was sad for Tess, but it looks like she's trying hard to be what she wants to be and Tess helping her has a lot of sweetness potential.

Sadie looked cool when she was 'getting' books, less so once she started 'getting' Frankie & co's stuff. That's why you shouldn't hit on thieves, Frankie.

Frankie is hot and I'm not a big fan of Sam but I'd rather ship Cat with Sam.

Yep. Me, too! In fact, I found myself laughing hysterically out loud a few times (usually Tess was involved) and then the romance/sexytiems started happening and my attention/brains got sucked into the monitor! So yeah, I'm still liking it! I think I had no expectations or preconceived notions of this show, didn't know it existed until the post here in LJ, so I'm just enjoying what comes. *ahem* o_-

I'm crushing on Lady!Cop so hard. Super funny with that delicious voice... I'm going wherever she is! ;) I like Tess and Lou as well, what with their stumbling through this relationship (but guyfriend being in love with her is really sad because... he's in love with a lesbian and that sucks hardcore for him). They definitely have the lighter, funner storyline. Also, I'm down for Frankie/Sadie too. I want them to be dysfunctional together, but oddly really, really happy.

"UNF can Cat and the cop get it on already?" is what I thought at the beginning when Cat beat up the kid who took her "mobile" (hahaha), and then they did! Detective Sergeant, mmm mmm. I totally ship them. It's crazy to think that the show's only 2 episodes in and I'm completely invested in some couples and completely disinterested in the other shenanigans, namely whoever Frankie seems to be doing this week.

I agree with you 100% though - I wouldn't take her out in public, but I would def take her! Still hot and hipster, love it!

I wish I were a TV character, they have so much free time, I'm sick of studying.
