Six (Five?  I don't know.  In any case it was way to many when shows like LoTS are taken away from me too soon!) seasons of The L Word and I never got the appeal of Shane (and by association Kate Moennig). 

One episode of Dexter and I get it.  I totally get it. *sigh*  If only I'd been able to watch Kate as this character sexin' Lokinator I might have finished season four.




Honestly, it's about time a chick hit on Deb.  Deb is so Butchy McFabulous that I'm surprised women haven't been hitting on her left-right-and-center.  It's such a shame Deb is straight (or so they keep telling us!).  I mean, not only do I think that lady gays would appreciate her man-boots, button down shirts and jeans more than the losers she actually sleeps with do, but Michael Angelo (Kate) is so much hotter than Quinn (Desmond Harrington).

And, speak of Shane reminds me of the emo!wonder that is Frankie Alan ... so, here is episode 3 of Lip Service

the biggest suspension of disbelief for me on the show is trying to think of Deb as straight. It's just ... I mean LOOK AT HER!

I give Lip Service another thumbs up. I think it's hilarious at times, and a bit shocking at times. I'm interested in the characters and what happens to them, even Frankie. I did not see that coming with Tess and Lou. I thought we were gonna get to see what a fledgling lesbian relationship in Glasgow might look like, but alas, no. Instead poor Tess got the shaft. And Ed her knight in shining armor was there to pick up the pieces. They had better not make Tess hook up with him cause things aren't working our for her. They better not. I'm warning somebody. *narrows eyes and shifts them* And did you get a sinking feeling when Frankie asked Tess to move in with her? Yea, that sounds like trouble. Though for Tess how much worse can it get? Favorite scenes= Sam verbally bitch slapping Cat (wake up and smell the coffee, Cat), and the ensuing make up sex.

I thought we were gonna get to see what a fledgling lesbian relationship in Glasgow might look like, but alas, no.

Yeah. I didn't realize how much I was looking forward to this storyline until they killed it. I actually really hope that it's not over for Tess and Lou. I really hope that Tom is a complete asshole to Lou over the leak, and that Lou realizes that Tess is a much better person and a much better S.O. and that they get back together. I want Lou to have to work for it though, because she's (unintentionally I think) but Tess through the ringer.

I don't want a Tess/Ed hook up at all. And thankfully Fiona BUtton gave an interview that really made it seem like this would not happen at all. She basically said that Tess trusts Ed so much and feels so safe with him that him reveling his feeling for her would really devastate Tess. So I don't think the show will go there.

Frankie and Tess moving in together could be hilarious. Probably a hilarious disaster, but hilarious. I just wouldn't want Sadie getting an opportunity to fuck with Tess's life anymore than she already has.

Ahhhh LIP SERVICE. I did not see any of that coming (Frankie's not really Frankie! Lou + Tom!) although for the second one I had a moment of lol she is doing the co-host back when Tess first got the job at the show. But then Lou seemed so sincere about her ~feelings~ and wow.

Kudos to Ed. Just hope him and Tess don't get it on. Also props to Sam who told Cat where to put it... man she's sexy. Her voice is hotter than her sex moves, I have to say.

What did you think of Frankie this episode? Apart from HOT!HIPSTER!CRYING! I thought she had a really good turn this round, she seemed to get her shit together a bit more and be mature about things. She seemed earnest wanting to be friends with Cat and to be honest if I found out that I died like 20 years ago I'd continue to be quite fucked up and have an existential crisis.

I wonder where we're going to see Sadie next...

Did NOT see this coming either! Her pretty!emo crying was completely deserved this episode.

Lou + Tom!

Sadly, this I did see coming. I was hoping that I was just being cynical and that I would be wrong and Lou really had just been busy and Tess would apologize for doubting her with hot sex, but when Tess got all dressed up to go over to her house I knew things were going to go horribly wrong. Crazily perhaps, I really do think that Lou has real feelings for Tess, and gay-panic plus old affection for Tom is what led her back, but then when given some time she'll realize Tess is really who she wants. Ugh, I didn't realize how much I liked these two together until the breakup. Now I want them back together!

Yeah, I felt this way too. I thought that Frankie was a lot more mature and a lot more likable this episode and I was more invested in her because of it. I want Cat to give her another chance as a friend because Frankie really needs someone like Cat who will call her on her bullshit but still hug her, but I do understand why Cat would resist it. Frankie is CHARMING and their chemistry shines when they're together so I can see how hard it would be for Cat to keep her feelings platonic (and for Frankie to as well, even though that would be her plan)

I kind of want to ship Deb with Officer Manson right now. The only thing stopping me from really committing is how tiny Manson is. But I really like it when Deb and her team up.

First season I was kind of all over Deb/LaGuerta hate!sex, but the show has kind of killed them as a ship for me (mostly because they've somehow managed to take away all of LaGuerta's sex appeal with the stupid storylines they give her. Lauren Valez is RAWR but over the seasons LaGuerta has become a bore)

And I couldn't ship Deb/Lundy because the age difference freaked me out. Hypocritical of me because I find women like Lindsey Duncan and Helen Mirren to be crazy hot, but I just could never get into them. Lundy was her best choice so far though.

Overall, Deb's romantic life is just such a disaster.

LUNDY </3 I don't want to see them making sexytiems, but there was something about their relationship that made me root for them. Deb's other choices were all so shitty (Anton wasn't so bad tho) that Lundy really seemed good for her. (also, cucumber sandwiches at 1pm. SIGH.)
