Now that's a train wreck! Talk about worse than Lost Girl, ZP has ONE episode with the main girl in that and then it's all about her nottrying to get a record contract. I haven't seen the season where her character dies but if you think sitting through LG is painfully, Instant Star is worse.

I just have to second this. I've only caught a few episodes of Instant Star, but the ones I saw were soul-crushingly bad.

Lost Girl is Emmy worthy compared to this (well, Lost Girl not counting the last two episodes, which were just ... *shudder*)

I actually like it quite a bit. Zoie's character is wonderfully damaged. She also has a gay swagger. Seeing her in a uniform every episode is also a very nice little present.

Sadly, Claudette is only in the 1st season of the series. I hope you don't see that as a spoiler, but if you do, I apologize. I don't know why she left, but they have a different actress playing Laura in season 2.

Also, I so terribly ship Carly and Laura. Seriously? Laura in that motorcycle jacket and helmet and unf? And Carly with her gay swagger? Match made in heaven.

I would like to blindly trust in Zoie, but the show has made me weary. Also, I'm pretty sure she had to be nice seeing as it was lostgirltwitter and all.

Still, I hope that we do get some sort of revelation about Lauren that will allow Bo and Lauren to at least be friends again before the long wait for season 2.

Though Zoie was sexy with her swagger (you're right on this) in the three or four clips of Instant Star.

Thank you. On your recommendation I watched this show and am sooooooo hooked. Zoie Palmer is amazing. And so much better in this than Lost Girl. Not that that's her fault--Lauren gets way too little screen time in comparison to Dyson on LG.
