If you are not watching Nikita, OMG START!

Nikita - 1x11 - All The Way

How awesome was this weeks episode?  Not only did Nikita kick ass forwards, backwards and side-ways but up and down as well!  Maggie Q I bow down before thee.  Seriously, I was just smiling and clapping, whooping and 'aww-ing' my way through this episode.  It was so badass.  Also, this episode was a femslash smorgasbord! 

The Alex/Nikita scenes were so sweet and intense.  Nikita totally scores in the eleventh percentile for protective instincts.  I will never get enough of her mentoring Alex and doing everything in her power to protect her and take care of her.   All of their scenes together made me swoon.  I really love how important they are to each other, and that the show doesn't marginalize the importance of their relationship.

In addition to the lovefest of Alex/Nikita, there was also lovely Amanda/Nikita interaction.  Seriously, the scene with them was INTENSE.  Melinda Clarke is a scary mofo, but she makes it so sexy.  Terror and arousal should not go hand in hand, but apparently no one told that to Mindy.  Either that or they did and she just didn't give a shit, and that makes me love her even more.  She's HBIC she can do what she wants.  But yeah ... the Amanda/Nikita scene was AWESOME!  And Maggie was a power-house in that scene!  Take that people who said Maggie is robotic and can't act!

I should also mention, that I really enjoy how they've been developing the Alex character.  I'm really fascinated by her and constantly impressed by her and her ability to think on her feet.  Lyndsy Fonseca does a fantastic job with her, and I can't wait to see where Alex is going to go from here.

I'm liking this show more and more every week. My only request would be MOAR AMANDA less Percy.  Cause, let's me honest.  Amanda is about a hundred thousand time more intimidating than Percy.  Even Nikita thinks so, lol

Seriously, this .gif alone is was almost enough to make me pick up one of the first five Rachel Morgan books.  Because Maggie Q has always been my Ivy Tamwood, and if this isn't Ivy Tamwood awesomeness personified, I don't know what is.  Don't worry, I resisted.  I will not invite that insanity back into my life.  I'll just stick to Nikita thanks.



Seriously.  So.  Fucking.  Badass.  That's right, Amanda.  Run.  You the HBIC when bitches are in chains, but when Nikita is wielding concrete maces it's time to GTFO!

I really hope that the CW doesn't manage to screw the show up over the hiatus.  I don't understand why networks hate it when audience demographics are different than they expected.  Does it really matter if you thought the show would appeal to 18-30 year old females, but the audience is actually 25-40 year females and 18-45 year old males?  I mean, if people are watching, why change things to try and make it appeal more to people who aren't watching and risk alienating the ones that actually like the show?  *and yes, this is still some Blade: The Series rage rearing it's head*

I was especially impressed by Alex. I thought Nikita had recruited her to get into Division and it was actually her own idea. Girl is badass! :D

I'm more and more impressed by Alex too. When it was revealed that planting her as a mole was her idea it was one of those "oh shit" moments. I definitely whooped. Girl is badass.

Blade: the Series was frakking amazing. No word of a lie. The pilot was a bit of a stinker, but the rest of the season was great. Spike canceled it however because too many women were watching (my rage of epic).

I definitely recommend it. You will LOVE Chase, and Krista and Chase together are magical.

Ad rates for this year are based upon the ratings and demographics of last year, particularly important for new shows. Which is funny since Nikita replaced Supernatural in the time slot. Another show which had TPTB scratching their heads over the demographic they wanted versus the demographic they have. Admittedly, if Nikita had Supernatural's ratings I don't think anyone would really care who was watching. Although, I do question *why* anyone at the CW would be puzzled over the fact that Nikita skews older. I honestly thought that's what they wanted when they purchased the show - viewers who'd grown up with the WB and wanted something a little more mature/darker. Because, let's face it, in a recession the 18-30 year old's don't have as big of a disposable income as they used to. Pairing it with The Vampire Diaries on the most competitive night of television probably wasn't the brightest idea either.

Yeah, pairing it with Vampire Diaries is kind of strange, but you'd think it would be easier to switch the night they aired the show instead of messing with the tone of it to try and make it appeal to people who have probably already decided that it's not for them.

She really is and I love her. I want moar Amanada on the show, for real. She is awesome.

And I did hear about Nan Flannigan becoming a regular. It's like the only thing that has me excited for True Blood's next season.

And there was definitely some Alex/Amanda subtext in the beginning. I didn't notice any private area for Alex to change outfits *waggles eyebrows*

LOL! I hadn't noticed that, but it's so true. No wonder Amanda looked pleased as punch with herself throughout that whole scene.

I would love that first .gif so much more if Nikita wasn't wearing those ridiculous shoes. She's NIKITA. I refuse to believe that she would ever wear something so impossible to fight/flee/climb in.

That last .gif is amazing. The cute little bit slays me. I also love that it's impossible to tell who she's with or even if it's a male or female so I can just insert my own preferred Maggie chew-toy!

The first gif was like some Xena shit. When I watched the episode I played that scene over and over again because she was such a BAMF.

Besides Glee, this is the only other fandom where I ship all the ladies. Nikita/Alex, Alex/Amanda, Nikita/Amanda, OT3 love, Jaden/Alex (they'd have such great hate sex, I think), Nikita/the chicks she rescues. It's so sad that there isn't more fic for them though. Fandom is totally failing me in that respect.

Yeah, she was remarkable cool considering the situation. But then again, she's Amanda. Of course she handled it well. Lady is HBIC.

I loved that Nikita was all like "ha ha" in Percy's face when she thought that he was going to try and get her to talk, but when she saw Amanda walk in the room, there was a genuine look of apprehension on her face.

Tbh I never really felt the subtext between Nikita/Alex before but oh how that changed. The whole dynamic in the little hut scene before Alex hits Nikita is loaded with tension, though that may have just been me. I think I even saw a little finger stroke as Alex took the gun but I think I'm probably looking into that a bit much lol.

Seriously, ARMS. I think I had a little moment with the whole chains situation.

My anticipation for new eps had kind of waned a little before now, but now I just need MOAR Nikita (preferably in my pants).

Not just you. I loved that hut scene. The look on Alex's face when she was forced to consider the idea of hurting Nikita got me right in the heart. You could see how much she just didn't want to have to cause Nikita pain (even though Nikita obviously could take it).

I also loved that scene when they were crouched behind the rocks. When Nikita was all like, "We both know you can't", the tender tone of her voice just got me. Her wanting to protect Alex's innocence just made me swoon.

I don't think I can say anything more, you've already said it all. Alex/Nikita was like so right in your face. The first flashback scene was soo evident. And Nikita side glance at the end of that scene, UNF!

I LOVE this episode!! The chain scene, OMG!! Amazing! Melinda and Maggie EXCELLENT!! Melinda is sooo incredible, love her in every character.

THe only complain I have is that I don't think Nikita would have cried in front of Amanda. I think is too tough, IMO.

Other than that, my heart was beating soo fast at the end. It was frakin' intense!! I hope the don't ruin it.
