Cause, I though it completely jargogles me ... I like Bo again.  Before this episode whenever I thought of Bo I just wanted to punch her in the face part of her face ... really hard.  But by the end of this episode I liked her, and kind of maybe respect her a bit.  I still think she's dumb as shit most of the time sometimes, and she's definitely still got that 'willful blindness to the truth/willful disregard for common sense' thing going on, but at least it was in a positive sorta way this time.  I don't even ... but it's true.

Thoughts:

- And Bo/Dyson doing it ... well, we are off to a wonderful start.  Ugh.  I don't even care that it turned out to be a dream sequence.

- Bo is just such a humble person.  She could really use a little more self-confidence.  She just doesn't believe in herself enough.  Pat yourself on the back every once in a while Bo.  Toot your own horn for a change.

- LOL Saskia is Bo's mother?  Well, I guess it's a good thing they didn't do it then (nice cover with that 'novelty whore' line there Efa).  Bo's gotta feel a little awkward about the girl!crush now.

- Saskia's on screen, I am happy.  Saskia's wearing a hat.  I'm happier.  Though the fact that the writers went to the Merlin School of Subtlely when it comes to female villains, makes me less happy.

- "Quiet like a bunny"  LOL Kenzi.  Considering her love of drama it does NOT surprise me Kenzi reads romance novels.

-  And Bo's a little snitty after learning Dyson's been lying to her since the beginning ... and that's it? [FYI:  she remains only a little snitty throughout.  But I think that's more due to the fact that Lovretta writes Bo, Bo doesn't act like a complete douchebag, and in fact she resembles an actual human being with a working brain] 

-  Anna Silk looks really good this episode though.  Bo always looks best in minimal make-up.  Also her acting, WAY WAY better this episode.  At least in this scene.  [FYI:  when Anna is given dark material and zingy one-liners she is very watchable.  It's almost hard to imagine she's the same actress that made me CRINGE last week.  But then again, this time she had decent material to work with and Bo wasn't acting like Justin Bieber fangirl so...]

-  "I know she's kind of a big, crazy bitch"  LOL.  Finally I see a family resemblance.

-  Oooh, Bo's going to see LAUREN! 

Bo: How do Succubus' fight each other?
Kenzi: Slow motion pillow fights, crotch lasers?
Oh, Kenzi I heart you so much.

- Bo managed to have a civil conversation with Lauren, and agreed to talk to her?  WHAT IS THIS SHOW THAT I'M WATCHING??!?!?!  What has this sensible person done with Bo?  What has this show that makes sense done with Lost Girl?  *hey, the show has earned this level of sarcasm!*

- Saskia pulling a June Clever?  Nice.

-  Ugh, Dyson you can shove your "I love her" up you butt.  NO1CURR

-  LOL, it just kind of cracks me up that Bo kept on eating that cookie Saskia had baked the whole time she was bitching at her.  Oh, I see, she had to cause their drugged.  "The secret ingredient is love" *twirls Bo's hair*  ewww, creepy.

-  LOL Saskia got Bo hot serving men and women.  BEST MOTHER EVER

-  THAT DRESS SASKIA IS WEARING IS INSANE!  HER BOOBS!  HER BOOBS!

-  It amuses me how much Bo and Saskia seem like they're coming onto each other.  It's like they went to the Anna Torv School of How to Have Inappropriate Chemistry with Women Playing your Relative

Efa:  I'm pretty sure I was speaking English!

-  Himbo Army ... flee from us and our model army ... lol, well done Bo.

-  HOT DAMN!  OH MY GOD!  I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!  Um, by blowing up the Ash did Saskia just unwittingly save Lauren from slavery?  I probably won't find out the answer to that question until season 3 considering how quickly people remember Lauren exists on this show.

- LOL 4 EVER!  BO JUMPING THROUGH THAT WINDOW WAS THE MOST HILARIOUS/RIDICULOUS THING I'VE SEEN!  She was probably a HANDFUL in High School.

-  OMG LAUREN CLIMBING UP ON A GURNEY IS THE HOTTEST THING TO EVER HOT!

-  I love how Bo keeps talking about "her team"!  Like, bitch who are you kidding, it's you and Kenzi.

This was doubly hilarious after the ridiculously slow way Bo ran out of there.  Seriously, what was that?  Had Anna Silk like twisted her ankle earlier that day?  Girlfriend was practically strolling in terror.

-  I like Dyson's jacket in the scene with the Nor.  Okay, fine.  I WANT Dyson's jacket from the scene with the Nor.

OH GOD DAMN THIS IS SOME SERIOUS SHIT GOING DOWN RIGHT HERE ON THIS FRAKKING SHOW.  I gotta admit, the sacrifice Dyson was willing to make for Bo was pretty serious.  I have to give the man props for be willing to give up his wolf.  STILL, I AM SO HAPPY AT THE MASSIVE COCK-BLOCK THAT JUST GOT THROWN IN THE WAY OF BO/DYSON.  Like I honestly could not have WISHED for a MORE MASSIVE COCK-BLOCK

And I am officially on-board for and anticipating season 2.  Well done show.  In fact, I think if you just pretend episodes 11 and 12 don't exist, season one might even be re-watchable.

Zomg after reading so many fics of yours via ff (big fan of your Lost Girl abnd Resident Evil fics, seriously) I actually feel stupid for not checking out your lj.

I agree Lovretta really should write all the episodes. She gets the characters, and doesn't really make them OTT (hah Saskia/Efa is just like that) Guys wrote the Bo/Dyson centric episodes (AHEM EPISODE 11 and 12, you can go die now kthxbai)

Bo's team of people consist of people who she trust, and right after that she goes to Lauren. I mean seriously.....-.-

Anna is a okay actress, sometimes Bo's behaviour just seems to fluctuates massively (I blame that on the guy writers) I puked at episode 12 *shudders*

I myself totally ignored the fact The Ash was on the gurney XD Seriously, if all doctors were like her, everybody would just faint and die of happiness.

Kudos to Kenzi for recognizing a "booby trap or payback for rejecting Lauren's hot hot lady love".

On a more serious note however, I'm watching the reaction on twitter and many of those rooting for Dyson were like his sacrifice was the only thing that allows Team Lauren and that he's a more suitable soulmate because he's willing to sacrifice his wolf, bla bla bla. Seriously, I think Bo and Lauren are on their way to patching things out WITHOUT Dyson's sacrifice. But if Season 2 has like minimal Lauren and tons of Bo trying to help Dyson, I might just stop watching.

I thought Season 1's wrong was the way how the triangle was handled in massive favour of Bo/Dyson, but the Dyson running around the woods in season 2 might give more Bo/Lauren, hopefully.

Do yourself a favor and just skip episodes 11 and 12. I don't have words to describe how AWFUL and enraging they are.

I can summarize everything you need to know from those two episodes in two sentences if you want. Honestly, just skip them and go straight to the finale after watching episode 10.

well this was a good epi, lots of action and twists and turn`s but bo still slightly get`s on my nerves why wasn`t lauren brought up in the finale sceen with kensie? and dont no wat to make of the whole cock blocking thing ! that will obviously be sorted out in the first 5min of the next season and if not obviously still wont stop her having passion and love for him would of really liked for bo to come to some sort of grown up decision on her own about who she wants to be with , and lets face it when she finds out what he did for her she is just gonna love him more!? really hope they start next season like as if 6months or so has passed so we dont have to put up with bo all heart broken over dyson . lauren needs to be made a season regular with way more screen time,,! please writers ,,

I think Bo will always get on my nerves a little. But as long as I don't HATE her like I have for the past few episodes, I can deal.

Lauren being left out at the end did bug, a lot though.

Honestly, Bo is so capricious that I could see her getting bored with Dyson once he's no longer her man-puppy. She'll still use him for healing, but I could easily see her turning to Lauren to be worshipped, because Bo is a shit girlfriend and a pretty shitty person.

It would have been nice to see her actually grow up and make an adult decision, but that is for a better show than Lost Girl. Hopefully, Bo will manage to actually learn a lesson or two next season though. My wish to be honest at this point is for Dyson to realize how much of a user Bo is now that his love/passion has been taken away, and for her to actually have to earn his respect to get his help. And for Lauren to eventually realize that Bo is an immature asshat and that she deserves better.

I want for Dyson and Lauren to move on and leave Bo's trifling ass ALONE at the end of season 2.

Totally. This happening is really the only thing that'll keep me around for more than two or three episodes in season 2. Lauren is my main draw, and episodes 9-12 showed me that without her, I can only enjoy this show so much (if at all).

I loved Kenzie's recap of what happened between Mom and Dyson. "Dyson banged your mom...?" Lauren's hair this episode was ridiculously nice for someone who is buried in work.
Hale's trickery to get Kenzie to meet up with Dyson was funny: "Hey, you, you look good; yeah, good, something with your hair, good!"
Uh, maybe it's me, but after Efa falls, Bo looks incredibly sad/mournful, but then, not 10seconds later, she runs downstairs, her face not red/blotchy/tearful. If you drop your long-lost mother, I expect heart wrenching sobs and THEN a hopeful "maybe she's not dead" AFTER the body isn't discovered.

I don't really have any feelings on it at this point. It COULD be interesting, but I'll have to see what they do with it next season. If they develop an Sydney Bristow/Irina Derevko kind of vibe I could love it. But this show is not as good as Alias, so who knows ...

Heh. It's Lost Girl. That's my new reaction to everything that does make sense/seems wonky, is "Hey, it's Lost Girl". If you find yourself being like, "Hey, why did _________ this happen?/ Hey, why did so and so do _____________?" just go, shrug and go, "whatever".

It makes the show so much more enjoyable. Thinking is NOT your friend when watching this show.

Now I'm looking forward to the "talk" between Lauren and Bo in the next season. I think Lauren may not be aware of what Bo feels about her. Seems she treated the sex with Bo as Bo's succubus instanct instead of Bo's love. That's why she told Bo the truth without a second thought and her expectation about Bo is quite low.
But if they really need to talk about it and share the feelings about each other. Lauren will have a higher expectation about Bo hence they will have new problems to solve.

Well I decided to give this series a try and check it out on TV today. I liked it. It was the one where Bo was hallucinating Lauren making out with Kenzi.

Since I know you wrote episode reviews to this show, I decided to spoiler myself and read them. So the episode I watched was the second best Lauren episode in the season? Aw, was hoping there was more.

So this series starts off good, then starts to go all Hollows on us, but eventually redeems itself. Something along those lines?

I could see why Lauren is seen as the best thing about this series. By the sound of it, she's the only character who's consistantly watchable. Then throw in the added bonus that she's a legit gay character, Zoie kind of looks like fellow Canadian Sarah Polley and is real life friends to Rachel McAdams, and you have a winning combination.

Now I'm thinking of fic ideas of Zoie's Dr. Hot Pants teaming up Rachel McAdams and her sidekick Jayma Mays. I'm also entertaining the thought of shipping Lauren and Jayma together. If Bo's going to be so ungrateful, I'm sure Jayma Mays would be more appreciative of such fineness. Actually if I do end up writing this fic, I'll make the love triangle about Bo and Jayma competing for Lauren's affections. Now that makes a lot more sense than Lauren and Dyson competing for Bo's affection.

Sorry, I'm going back and re-reading some of your stuff just to entertain myself and all your Lost Girl posts are must reads. I watched this recently on Netflix so having an foggy idea of all your frustrations and favorite parts just kind of brought the show back and I almost want to go get back into it just to follow along with your reviews and laugh my ass off. I still might.

Wish I would of got back on here to enjoy in a more appropriate span of but oh well. Better late than never I guess.
