Nikita giving Alex a glass of almond milk at the end of the episode instead of wine was hilarious.  Oh, to get a look into Nikita's mind.  Knife training, gun assembly lessons, high fives for breaking people's fingers, infiltrating black ops government installations, check.  But wine is crossing a line, lol.

Also, I know that scene was supposed to remind us that Alex is only 19 (because now that they glammed Alex up, Nikita honestly looks like she's maybe three years older than her), and I get that ... but it just made me ship the hell out of them even more.  Seriously, I wanted Alex to just walk over to Nikita after that phone call from Michael and just crawl into Nikita's lap and drink her milk between make-out sessions.  In fact, I'm pretty much convinced that's what really happened.  And that they like to watch Wipeout together and mock regular people's lack of coordination and general badassery.

I was worried about the retooling the show went through and what it would be like when it came back from hiatus, but I'm loving it.  Alex being out in the world is the greatest thing to happen to fandom femslash this month.  Okay, that's not true.  Jaime Murray on Spartacus: Gods of the Arena is the greatest thing to happen to fandom femslash this month, but Alex being an agent and not being stuck underground is definitely second.  To say that I am loving the way Alex and Nikita interact with each other, gaze lovingly at each other, worry about each other, save each others asses, and just generally respect and support each other, would be an understatement of epic proportions.  Right now, they are my favorite couple on television (okay, Phil and Claire from Modern Family are giving them a run for their money, but Nikita/Alex is a least tied for the top spot).

Also, this episode was filmed like an eight minute walk from where I live!  Goddamn you frigid Canadian winters making me whole up inside like grizzly bear.  MAGGIE Q WAS SO CLOSE yet so far away.  I just never saw the filming because the thought of long term exposure to the cold makes me cry so I've been avoiding the outdoors.  I definitely need to work on my stalking skills.

Yup, I'm pretty much convinced that's what happened as well. Then after wards, they took a nice and *long* bath together. That glass of milk was for Alex's "stamina" and I totally mean that in a 'wink, wink, nudge, nudge' kinda way.

This! Seeing them hanging out together all of the time warms my heart. They just seem so smitten with each other. I hope we get to see some scenes of them just chilling, like at the beginning of the episode before they have to go off and save the world again.

Mm, totally. You know that Nikita loves to spoon Alex from behind in the bathtub, and that she always washes Alex's hair. And Alex complains that she can do it herself, but then she smiles to herself and enjoys the hell out of it when Nikita pays not attention to her.

Ooh, I was on set for a scene that was shot for I think it was episode 3 or 4, set in a sweat shop in China or something. It was shot in a local high end men's clothing maker that my partner works for. We ducked in to watch some of the special effects being shot one night. Maggie shot her gun and they set stuff on fire, it was really cool. Maggie Q is certainly hot! So's her stunt double ;)

I highly recommend working on those stalker skillz...

Ah, lucky! That's so cool. Seeing Maggie firing a gun (even a fake one) IRL is epic. And I always thought that Maggie would be just as gorgeous IRL, but it's nice to have confirmation that her amazing hotness is always present.

I definitely need to work on my stalking skills (once the weather warms up). I'm with Lyndsy Fonseca complaining about the abominableness of Toronto's weather for the past three months. Thankfully they won't be filming again until it warms up so this works out perfectly for me!

Honestly, especially after the last couple episodes I don't know how you couldn't ship Nalex. They are LOVE. Every scene with them together (even when they're talking on the phone to each other) just makes me wanna hug a puppy or a baby or a kitten or something because they're so precious.

They are such fierce bitches together. They are also fierce bitches apart which makes them so much better. I love how well suited they are for each other. Alex is younger but she is every bit as smart and clever and badass as Nikita is. They are really the only people who are cool enough for each other.

I agree with you so much about Alex. I've been constantly impressed with the fact that the writers have made her smart and capable. She constantly impresses me.

I lol'd at the sword-sheathing scene because it was just so dramatic - the men collapsing right on cue XD the scene of her breaking her stiletto heels was mmmmmmmf so hot. I love how Nikita fights in evening gowns half the time!

I LOVED that! I like that Nikita is practical. Another show wouldn't have bothered to show that *cough Covert Affairs*, but that helps with the believability of it, and also it was just plain hot.

lol. Michael is pretty beady eyed. The only thing that makes me not freak out about the possibility of Michael/Alex, is that both Shane West and Maggie Q have made comments about how creepy it would be in Michael and Alex got together because Alex is so young (and Michael's even older than Nikita). The fact that they've openly commented about it being creepy numerous times makes me think that it's unlikely to happen (that's what I'm gonna believe at least!)

Oh, I know. That show was pretty awful. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't. Kari Machett's hotness is really the only thing that got me through.

I honestly don't think Shane's playing him as perving, I just think Shane looks kind of pervy so it just comes across. He's apparently a super nice guy IRL, but it looks a little sketchy, lol.

As long as Nikita/Alex friendship/relationship remains strong and intact and central to the story I can deal with side love interests.

I totally snorted when Nikita held the two wineglasses. Seriously, I agree that relaxing scenes should appear more often.

Ship wars are going on tumblr the last time I checked, with the Nalex name being argued over as Nathan/Alex comes into play the next episode.

Maggie and Lyndsy just portray the relationship so naturally.
