You guys, the finale was awesome and now I don't know if my heart can take the long wait for a new season/not even knowing if there's going to be a second season!  

Thoughts:

Alberta Watson is still smoking hot and completely badass.

Damn, Alex is a smart girl.  I always say that, but I'm always genuinely amazed by just how clever she is.  She doesn't miss anything.  Love her being able to learn from Jaden's death and cleaning even while in shock and barfing into her kitchen sink.

I love how NIkita can disfigure a bitch with only like a 1/3rd of her body working properly.  Even half-dead Nikita's like...



Nikita: Ugh, you're useless!
LOL, Nikita.  I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to say that while talking to phone agents.

Ugh, I love Alex/Amanda scenes.  Alex is always so snarky and steely and impossibly sexy in them.

OMG show you are pissing me off so much with Nikita NEVER checking up on Alex.  She fucking heard Alex say goodbye to her and doesn't even ask Michael if Alex is back at Division or if she's in the wind, just doesn't even say a goddamn thing? (And no, it makes no difference to me that Alex showed up five seconds after Nikita hangs up.  She still didn't ask or try to find out about her.  It's the principle of the thing)

My heart is sad because of Nikita and Alex breaking up (temporarily), but my pants and eyes are happy at the possibility of future Alex/Amanda partnership, and team mind-fucking and ass-kicking!

So good.  Want more.  Seriously, if they don't renew I'mma:

1)  Belittle some suits while staring them down like they are dirt beneath my shoes like Alex

2)  Electrocute some bitches for emphasis then fix my hair in the mirror like Amanda

Oh, I know. Feelings heaped upon feelings sprinkled with feelings! It was so raw and intense (except for anything involving Mikita, which was boring).

I was bawling so hard because both of them were crying as well.

Nikita crying really got me. Alex cries so much that I'm shocked when she doesn't cry (that's not a slam, Lyndsy manages to do this awesome 'tears of death/revenge/intense fucking hatred' thing that is amazing. Like when Alex cries, bitches better run cause she'll kick your ass). Nikita crying hit me right in the heart, she totally just lost it there (for that whole scene really) and I just wanted them to make up and sex hug it out!

Right now I just need to hear the show is renewed. As long as I know it's coming back I can handle the wait. It's the not knowing that's killing me right now!

I'd like to see loads of angst Alex/Nikita scenes next season, and a big reunion/reconciliation scene where they have sex just sob lovingly in each others arms Michael can be just somewhere else, with Ryan locked up in the Super Max prison. Heh.

bah! There were 4 of us watching and I kid you not, when she grabbed Alex to pull her back, we all gasped and jumped out of our seats at the same time. That was some crazy ass closeness! Followed by intense staring and tears and Nikita not being able to let Alex go, ahhhh sob. It's so sad and I'm so conflicted, on one hand Nikita is right about if Alex goes down the revenge path she won't come back and just wants to save Alex, on the other hand Alex is right, it's not her choice to make. FEELINGS, these two give me so much feelings!

And then the zipline and Alex looking back twice and the stares. Gah, my ship, the angst (especially with the way MQ and LF bring it) is going to be the death of me.

So true. I always enjoy Michael/Birkoff scene. It's amazing how much I cared about the fight they had in this episode when I didn't give a shit about anything involving Michael and Nikita. In fact I think I missed some key things about Nikita's escape from the CIA because as soon as Michael and Nikita started interacting my brain rebelled and thought about cheese or something until it was over.

It was utterly heartbreaking. They both worked that scene like pros. You could hear the devastation in Alex's voice when she said she couldn't trust Nikita, and pain on Nikita's face because she knew that she created the scenario that led to that moment. Ugh. Girls. You're breaking my heart.

It's a really tough situation because you see both sides, even with Nikita withholding the truth. I mean, despite what Alex said, if Nikita had told her the truth right away it would have been a disaster. Alex was practically feral, even after she detoxed. And once they settled on the mission and started Alex's training, enough time had passed that Alex would have considered it a betrayal. Nikita was damned if she did and damned if she didn't. She saved Alex by not telling her, but she also damned their relationship. UGH FEELINGS!

I love that Nikita remained just as fierce a protectress despite what they had just gone through. She fucked up, but she did it with the best intentions, and she loves Alex (and Alex loves her). Things are just so complicated!

Alex absolutely loves her. Something I noticed when I rewatched that scene again (I'm such a martyr), at the very beginning before it gets super duper emotional.
