To be honest, I don't give a shit about this series (though it seems functional enough), but this episode features Zoie Palmer with an Irish accent which is very relevant to my interests (and I'm sure many of yours!) so I thought I'd post it.
TV Show: XIII: The Series (2011)
Network: Showcase / Canal +
Genre(s): Drama
Cast: Stuart Townsend, Aisha Tyler, Virginie Ledoyen, guest starring Zoie Palmer
Plot Outline: XIII is the story of a man’s quest to uncover the truth about his identity. Named for the Roman numeral tattooed on his neck, XIII is a former secret operative who cannot remember his past. Hunted by a dark anti-government organization, XIII searches for clues that will lead him to who he is, and to the secret he carries that makes him so valuable—and so potentially dangerous.
Certification: PG-13
Why should you watch (this episode that is)?
I think this one episode of XIII had more Zoie Palmer in it than the entire first season of Lost Girl. Okay, that statement is an exaggeration, but only by a little bit. What needs to be stressed is that there is plenty of Zoie Palmer in this episode, she has an Irish accent, and you get to see her in a towel. She even gets to do some eye flirting with Aisha Tyler! So Zoie fans, click, save, watch and enjoy!

I wonder if it was inspired by that game in anyway?

Date: 2011-06-10 09:47 pm (UTC)but I've got to ask...was the interior of the "Irish" bar she tends in this episode look the exact same as The Dal/Del in Lost Girl?
I don't think it's the same set. I couldn't swear to it one hundred percent, but the bar set on XIII seemed smaller to me.

I fear my Lauren/Sam fic is floundering. I can't give Lauren too many sisters! But I cannot leave this idea aside!
Sam? *iz confuzzled* Is Sam a character from the show?

Date: 2011-06-10 09:53 pm (UTC)I found the pilot episode of XIII to be pretty boring, but this episode seemed alright so the show might have found it's feet. If you end up watching for Agent Tall Dark and Sexy, let me know if the series is worth catching up on :D

Date: 2011-06-11 01:21 am (UTC)I just finished watching the episode. It was rather boring that I was pretty much reading a newspaper whenever Zoie Palmer wasn't onscreen. So if anyone wants to find out the storyline of this series, it's a lot more better to just play the video game. Way more enjoyable. Plus you get to hear Agent Mulder narrate as the main character which may or may not be a good thing depending on your views on him.
