To be honest, I don't give a shit about this series (though it seems functional enough), but this episode features Zoie Palmer with an Irish accent which is very relevant to my interests (and I'm sure many of yours!) so I thought I'd post it.

TV Show: XIII: The Series (2011)
Network: Showcase / Canal +
Genre(s): Drama
Cast: Stuart Townsend, Aisha Tyler, Virginie Ledoyen, guest starring Zoie Palmer
Plot Outline: XIII is the story of a man’s quest to uncover the truth about his identity. Named for the Roman numeral tattooed on his neck, XIII is a former secret operative who cannot remember his past. Hunted by a dark anti-government organization, XIII searches for clues that will lead him to who he is, and to the secret he carries that makes him so valuable—and so potentially dangerous.
Certification: PG-13

Why should you watch (this episode that is)?
I think this one episode of XIII had more Zoie Palmer in it than the entire first season of Lost Girl.  Okay, that statement is an exaggeration, but only by a little bit.  What needs to be stressed is that there is plenty of Zoie Palmer in this episode, she has an Irish accent, and you get to see her in a towel.  She even gets to do some eye flirting with Aisha Tyler!  So Zoie fans, click, save, watch and enjoy!

I'm so glad someone else has preoccupation with Ms. Palmer. I've watched this a few times, mostly for her in a tank top, towel and with Irish brogue, but I've got to ask...was the interior of the "Irish" bar she tends in this episode look the exact same as The Dal/Del in Lost Girl? I swear it's the same set.

Dr. Hot Pants is love. I'm consuming all Zoie media I can.

I don't think it's the same set. I couldn't swear to it one hundred percent, but the bar set on XIII seemed smaller to me.

Gah. She is so dreamy. Although, between her badassedry and accent in the Nikita ep (an additional thank-you for that ep!) and her lovely accent in this ep, I fear my Lauren/Sam fic is floundering. I can't give Lauren too many sisters! But I cannot leave this idea aside!

*sigh* This is too much good for my own good. Thank you for posting this!

So dreamy. Every time I see her in something I new I become more and more smitten.

I also love that she seems to have an ear for accents and is able to believably replicate different ones because accents are HOT!

Sam? *iz confuzzled* Is Sam a character from the show?

Oh no, Sam from Lip Service. My apologies, I forget they aren't actually in the same shows IRL.

Enjoy!

And yes, there better be MUCH MUCH MUCH more Hot Pants in Season 2 than there was in Season 1. Because with the exception of 'Food for Thought' and 'Vexed' this XIII episode really did have more Zoie screen time that season 1 of LG.

Dammit, I did not know Aisha Tyler was on a show, aside from VO work on Archer. I may have to watch this stupid show just for her.

Yep, and Agent Jones is looking tall and fine in her power suits.

I found the pilot episode of XIII to be pretty boring, but this episode seemed alright so the show might have found it's feet. If you end up watching for Agent Tall Dark and Sexy, let me know if the series is worth catching up on :D

I'll give this thing a try. The title and plot outline reminds me of this video game.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XIII_%28video_game%29

I wonder if it was inspired by that game in anyway?

The show is related to the game. I think the game is like the backstory for the TV show (the game and some mini-series that starred Stephen Dorff).

I heard of that mini-series with Stephen Dorff and Val Kilmer. That was also based off the game too.

I just finished watching the episode. It was rather boring that I was pretty much reading a newspaper whenever Zoie Palmer wasn't onscreen. So if anyone wants to find out the storyline of this series, it's a lot more better to just play the video game. Way more enjoyable. Plus you get to hear Agent Mulder narrate as the main character which may or may not be a good thing depending on your views on him.
