Starz Entertainment has greenlit “Magic City,” an exciting new series centered around a hotel in the heart of sexy, exciting Miami at the dawn of the 1960s. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Olga Kurylenko are to head up the 10-episode series set to debut in early 2012.  The show co-stars Jessica Marais♥♥♥, Steven Strait, Christian Cooke, Elena Satine, Kelly Lynch, Danny Huston, Michael Rispoli, Seymour Cassel and Yul Vazquez.

Synopsis:  As Frank Sinatra rings in a new year in the grand ballroom of Miami Beach’s most luxurious dream palace – the Miramar Hotel – its visionary leader must deal with the Mob, his complicated family and a city in the midst of dramatic change as Fidel Castro takes control of Cuba, just 200 miles offshore. By day the hotel at the center of “Magic City” is all diving clown acts and cha-cha lessons by the pool, but at night Miami Beach reveals a darker truth. Dopers, dealers, strippers, gangsters and those who arrest them drift together to hear the top nightclub acts perform. Just beneath the surface, racial tensions stir. Ike must deal with all of this, even while global intrigue is brewing right under his roof.

Me too. She's super-cute when she's playing 'nice', but she is supernova hot when she's playing a badass.

And Steven Strait...he can definitely get it too :). I've been crushing on him ever since The Covenant.

Oh, I know! My body is always ready for Steven Strait. I think he's dreamy. I mean sat through "Undiscovered" and "10,000 B.C." for him!

Now we just need some good roles for Tab and Bridget.

Totally. The TV world just doesn't seem complete without those two on it. Them getting cast in something (especially a pay channel something) would make me so happy.

I know! Olga Kurylenko was enough to peak my curiosity, but as soon as I saw Jessica's name, the show became "Must see TV". Steven Strait being part of the cast is just icing on the cake.

She's gotten nekkid on screen before, and it is Starz so I think the chances of seeing Denna's boobs on this show are good!

Now, if only Tabrett Bethell could find herself a role on something.. that doesn't suck as hard as Poe!

I know, right! I want Tab on TV, but I also need her to be on a show that's watchable. It doesn't need to be brilliant (Lawd knows I watch Camelot, and that show is definitely not close to brilliant) but it needs to be entertaining.

I want Bridget on something too, dammit!

OMG! Camelot! I absolutely love Arthurian legend.. and I have never HATED a portrayal of Arthur more than I hate this one. Like, even without Eva Green and her crazy eyes, I'd want that hypocritical little shit to DIE IN A FIRE!!

Arthur is a complete and utter douchebag, and with the end of this weeks episode the producers of the show pretty much ensured that the audience will never be able to respect him.

He is not only a shitty ineffective king (no his Home Alone-ing did not impress me), he's also a terrible human being.

Morgan is also a terrible human being, but she seems like she'd be a decent ruler (unless you opposed her in which case she would DESTROY you). She's also proactive, and though she comes across as a bit grandiose at least she LOOKS/SOUNDS/ACTS like a leader. Plus, Eva is fun to watch in all of her scenery chewing glory.

But yeah, the show is pretty mediocre, but they got Eva Green (her crazy eyes and her willingness to disrobe for any reason) and so I'll continue to watch.
