Nothing better than a Warehouse 13/Rizzoli & Isles double-header, especially when both have very pleasing helpings of teh gay!

Warehouse 13 - 3x01 - The New Guy

First of all, because chronology means nothing to me, I'm going to start off talking about Myka and H.G.

The show made me super happy by bringing Myka back to the Warehouse so soon (no Myka makes me a sad girl) and by bringing H.G. back so soon! 

Myka and H.G. still got it!  Seriously, Jaime and Joanne's chemistry is crazy amazing.  There was so much depth and feelings! in that scene between them.  I was mesmered and ized.  I need more of those two together this season.  Actually I need more of those two together forever!

Myka/HG fans should read  this interview with Joanne Kelly, because it will make you very happy!  Also this quote from Joanne "If anything, I think the closest Myka comes to a romance is with H.G. Wells" (highlight)  made me giggle and clap because it's SO true.

Also, I loved the outfit H.G. was wearing, and the hands in the pocket stance she started out with.  Mmm, Jaime Murray.

And now that I've gotten the Myka/H.G. squeeing out of the way ... onto everything else!

Mmm, brainy!Myka.  Myka solving crime with Shakespeare was MmmSexy.  Brainy girls are hot, yo!

I actually really like the new guy.  Once he stopped with the "you're lying" every five seconds, I found Jinks to be kind of charming.  I also like that the writers showed the difference between Jinks "lie detecting" and Pete's "vibing" in this episode since there was some worry about the abilities kind of of overlapping after Jink's character description came out.  I think Steve will fit in really well, and that it'll be interesting to watch the dynamic that forms with our new agent threesome.  Also, canon gay character!

More Claudia and less Artie made me happy.  Though I have to say, the B-Plot with the Zeus and Hera statues fighting didn't really capture my attention all that much.  I kind of have no idea what was going on there because my mind kept wandering.  It was all about the Pete/Steve, Pete/Myka, Pete/Steve/Myka and Myka/H.G for me.

Finally, Leena is pretty much completely useless at this point.  I'm sure Genelle Williams doesn't mind the paychecks but the character does nothing.  Nothing.

I'm already counting down to the next episode!

Rizzoli & Isles 2x01

Thank god, R&I is still like the gayest non-gay show ever.  I mean the promo material made me feel pretty good about the fact that the showrunners/writers realized where the main strength of the show lay, but it was nice to have it confirmed that Jane and Maura will be just as cute and gay for each other this season as they were last season.

Honestly, the only thing I'm gonna write about for this episode is how much I flipping loved every Jane and Maura interaction.  SA and AH work so well off of each other.  They are such a joy to watch.  I pretty much have no idea what the main plot was about, all I cared about was the Jane/Maura stuff and that was more than enough to satisfy me.

The J/M scene that really made me lol and coo the loudest though was Maura cleaning Jane's tie at the awards dinner.  Such good girlfriending Maura!  Though, Maura running to Jane and then cradling her in her arms after the explosion was super sweet and super squee worthy as well.

I'm looking forward to the next gaypisode already ladies!

I havent seen the wH13 episode yet but I watched R&I last night with my mom and I so wasnt disappointed on the gay non gay interaction Jane and Maura had. like almost every scene they where together Maura was always touching Jane, telling her to have sex or what not. IT was so gay that my mom just had to shake her head wondering why not Maura and Jane had sex yet lol.

and OMG the promos where gaytastic the whole speed dating one was just gold, the photo-shoots where just screaming 'we-should-be-together-but-where-not-for-not-good-reason!'

I dont know how I'm going to make it this season alive I just know I'm going to go blind from all the rainbow I see.

LOL, I love that your mom ships them! Honestly, I don't know how anyone couldn't. They are too perfect together. The success of the show rests entirely on their crazy insane chemistry.

lol! I'm just going to lay back and bask in it. I've resigned myself to the fact that we're not gonna see them make out on screen, but as long as they continue to be the cutest couple on TV I'll be content.

That Warehouse 13 episode made me ridiculously happy! And Myka went directly for HG's chest when she touched her LOL and the way HG shivered <3 I missed them so much.
Jinx looks like a funny guy and seems to fit with the team. I automatically liked him more the moment we learned he was gay and wouldn't become Myka's love interest. So yeah, aside from that comment about repressed sexual tension between Myka/Pete and the constant "you're lying!" he was pretty decent.
And what you said about poor Leena is so true. She's like that zen presence in the background. I'm wondering if she's related to Mrs. F or something.

I know, I was crazy pleased with W13.

I also loved the way HG kind of gasped and shivered as if she could really feel Myka touching her. If just the 'idea' of Myka touching her can produce such a reaction from H.G. can you imagine how intensely she would react to Myka actually touching her *shivers myself*

One of the reasons I've taken to Jinks so well is that I know he's not going to become a love interest for Myka too :D I can enjoy them now without worrying about having an awkward romance shoved in my face.

That interview from Joanne Kelly makes me feel a little better about the Pete/Myka thing. She doesn't sound down with it at all, and it's definitely not something that the actors are playing up. The fact that Joanne sees Myka/HG as more romantic than Myka/Pete relieves me.

Myka also cracked me up and made my heart ache, because as soon as she realized she couldn't really touch H.G., she looked like all she wanted to do was hug her. Like when she thought the option was there she was all 'got to be stoic', but when she realized H.G. was far away from her in body, all she wanted to do was fall into her arms.

Those girls...*pats heart* Oh, those girls. I love them so much!

Yeah I'm really surprised that I'm still watching WH13. The new guy seems really cool and it was great to see both Myka and HG. I think WH13 is like Stargate SG1 for me. Not very special but oh so very entertaining.

I don't know about Rizzoli & Isles. They say that episode 3 is a lot gayer, so I will reserve my judgment.

lol. I used to watch while folding laundry and stuff, and then the H.G. arc came along and it became must see viewing. It's a fluffy kind of show that I forget about five minutes after the episode ends (unless Jaime Murray is in an episode), but I still enjoy it.

You didn't like the R&I premiere? I've kind of accepted that this show is going to be subtext and stay subtext, but they do subtext so well that I can't really hate on it. As long as Jane and Maura's relationship remains at the forefront of things I'll be watching.

And Episode 3 is gayer than this one? Can't wait!

OMG!! I can't believe that TVGuide interviewer compared WH13 to Moonlighting!! I was even more (pleasantly) surprised by all the comments calling him out on it!

Anyway, honestly, I had no *idea* that Jaime Murray would be back this season. So when I saw her pop up on screen, I about had a heart attack!! And, really, if the show was trying to sell me on the Pete/Myka ship with the whole 'repressed sexual tension' line, they *really* shouldn't have had Myka and HG reuniting in the same episode. Seriously, I don't think Myka has EVER looked at Pete with such longing as she did with HG! Had HG not been a hologram, I honestly believe Myka would have kissed her!

As for R&I, I really liked how the show was all 'okay, here's some het bullshit' then both Jane and Maura are both single by the end of the episode. And by single, I mean Maura's all 'yay! Jane wants to have sexy tiems!!'. I also kinda liked how it was Maura's temporary slam piece that turned out to be the heel instead of Jane's, considering all the red herrings they were throwing out there.

Heh, and I totally noticed you didn't talk about Eureka! I watched and was like 'what the HELL happened to this show?'. Had they not shown the previews and Felicia Day joining the cast next week, I'd have dropped the show after last night.

lol, I know. It's like they're not even trying with the love interests anymore. They're playing both sides of the fence, but clearly they know that Jane/Maura is where the money is. The 'love interests' are like red-shirts, here on scene gone the next and that's just fine with me!

I have to admit, I stopped watching Eureka a while ago. Jo's hotness just wasn't enough to keep me watching (especially when they ruined her by pairing her with Zane who I couldn't stand).

I just watched both of these and really enjoyed them both! I never watched a full epi of Warehouse 13 before tonight and I was thoroughly surprised at how much I liked the show. It was actually quite funny! I guess I'll have to watch the whole first season in my spare time now. And Rizzoli and Isles? Well, how can I not watch the gay?

W13 really is a fluffy, fun show. I'd definitely recommend watching season 1, and season 2 is even better because of the introduction of H.G. and the gaymance between her and Myka.

Both shows are pretty good though. Both are entertaining at the very least, nice fluffy summer fun. And Rizzoli & Isles is the gayest non-gay show ever, and the second season of W13 featured a pretty epic romance between Myka and Helena (H.G. Wells).

Everyone's reaction when H.G. popped up on screen! Seriously, I love that woman and this relationship. I was riveted to screen during their scene. I cannot wait to see more of them together.

More Girlish Fangirl Shrieking entailed when I saw a glimpse of HG during the opening credits! And I actually think I'm going to like the new guy.

Myka really is wearing HG's boots. I swear it.

HG's expression after Myka flipped out on Mrs. F for her being there was heartbreaking. :( Myka and HG need some serious time off to mend their relationship. The sweet smile Myka gave her after HG makes the comment that she "wish she'd thought of that" over the transporting consciousness thing, and that gasp of pain is totally not something just-a-friend would do after HG disappeared. They need some time to mend. Or we can just have The Spectacular Adventures of Myka Bering and HG Wells instead, leaving the Warehouse to the boys and Claudia.

I'm so happy to read that Joanne doesn't want Myka/Pete to happen because just the other day I watched a video where Eddie said it would be the end of the show (and he's right). Hope the people making decisions feel that way too. And the things Joanne says... I had this fear because I don't want to trust shows anymore but now... damn, I can't wait.

Me too. In fact, I love that the actors on this show ship like the public ships. Which is to say that most either don't ship anyone or they ship Myka/HG, lol

And the things Joanne says... I had this fear because I don't want to trust shows anymore but now... damn, I can't wait.

I don't know if the show will make HG/Myka an out and out romance, but if they continue to have as intensely emotional and also intimately relationship has they had this episode and in the past I can deal. Also, I'm sure that Jaime and Joanne are going to play everything like it IS a romance (as they have been) so as long as they don't throw a meaningless love interest at Myka (which it doesn't sound like will from Joanne's interview), it'll really be easy to just go on epic shipping Myka/HG
