Episode 3x05 Sneak Peek (there's H.G. in it, ya'll!)

Oh, this clip!  This clip!  I don't know where to begin ... wait yes, I do.  With Jaime Murray.  Everything should always begin with Jaine Murray.

Helena was hitting my woobie kink HARD in that clip!  Her face you guys, her FACE!  She looked so subdued and sad.  Jaime Murray, you should not be able to be an unimaginable sex goddess AND have one of the woobiest sad!puppy faces ever.  Making the world want to sex you and huggle you forever (in addition to a sexy posh British accent) is too much power for one woman to have ... what am I saying, no it's not.  Keep up the good work Jaime!

Next ... MYKA!  Myka was killing me with her pained little winces on H.G.'s behalf.  It was like you could tell that she wanted to tell Pete to back off because she knew that Helena was hurting, but after what her faith in Helena lead to in the past you can see Myka biting down on the instinct to speak up because in her mind, what right does she have?  When it comes to advocating for Helena, Myka feels she's lost the right, but she wants to SO BADLY! 

Pete, way harsh man.  I get it, you were sad that H.G. and her smile and her fantastic hair cape traumatized your BFF into leaving (just like everyone else in your life ... including Seven of Nine - Pete loses all the hottest chicks ... Tia Carriere, Seven of Nine, H.G., no wonder he's mad) but, way harsh dude!

Also, Helena built a rocket?  I love this bitch!

And ... and ... AND ...

I love that even when Helena G. Wells is some sort of astral projection that she still takes the time to accessorize.  Love the scarf, H.G. (because you wear it well, but also because you obviously 'dressed up' for Myka)

Even better though, is that Myka busted out one of H.G.'s old shirts (that she's been sleeping in because it still smells like Helena) for H.G's visit!  Obviously it's a subtle way for Myka to let H.G. know that she still loves her and misses her without Myka incurring the wrath of her fellow Warehouse agents.



Their love cannot be denied!  It is a romance for the ages!

Dear God, I hope Jinks finds a way to call them out of their epic lesbian love for each other.  At the very least if H.G. confesses some remorse or something along those lines I hope he pops up with a "FYI, she's not lying!"

Ugh, it's terrible that SyFy has me counting down to a Monday, but next week cannot come soon enough!

It's so strange! In seasons 1 and 2 I was just like, "Eh, it's alright" about the show. I'd watch it but I didn't geek out over it (H.G. episodes not withstanding). But this season ... it's my crack (and Joanne Kelly has become crazy attractive me).

My pretty sure it's the Myka/HGness that did it (just like how I got crazy about Legend of the Seeker when Cara because a main character) but I don't care, I'm just happy to be so excited about it.

And Firefly is the shit! I loved the hell out of that show.

NGL, snorted soda up my nose laughing. xDDDD

And I TOTALLY didn't notice the shirt 'til you pointed it out! Then I squeed like a little schoolgirl. It's so adorkable! Little bits like this make me think even the series doubters are coming 'round to Myka/HG, which is total YAY!

Perfection. I am now going to be horribly disappointed when Helena does not collapse into Myka's arms and deliver that line while giving Myka her 'brave little soldier' smile even though her eyes are sad and repentant.

I'm actually not sure whether H.G. wore that shirt before, but it's definitely an H.G.-style shirt, so I think the same logic applies. Myka is dressing like H.G. in an attempt to feel close to her. In fact I love the idea that Myka wears the shirt to feel like there's something of H.G.'s that she can touch since she can't touch H.G. herself. Like it's her H.G. security blanket.

With the fan support, and the actress support, and honestly the writing staff penning what has been a love story, I would love it if the show actually textually went there. Like if all of Joanne's crazy shippery interviews lately have been a way to prepare fans for Myka and HG actually locking lips sometime this season.

A life-time of being disappointed by television tells me it won't happen, but my heart and the fact that this show plays around with expectations so well really makes me hope it's true!

Pete got on my nerves a LOT in the first two seasons as well, but I've been finding him very tolerable (and at times sympathetic this season). I loved little!boy Pete in the second episode (and that episode actually made not hate him in that sneak peak cause I get that he's exploding at HG because he's still really angry and hurt at her for chasing Myka away). And I thought that he was fairly mature in this weeks episode with Seven of Nine. When he was interacting with Amanda he seemed like an adult (but was still Pete with the Top Gun references and comic book nerdity).

Ugh, this so much! I honestly HATED Artie last season. I thought he was a huge douche and I hated that he was proved right in the end. By the end of last season Artie could've been killed off and I wouldn't have cared I dislike him so much.

This season though, like Pete I'm finding him a lot more tolerable. I'm interested to see how he'll react to H.G. next episode actually. I hope he doesn't go back to being a complete dick though, because the show is much more enjoyable for me when I don't hate his guts.

And you are so right about how Murray was playing it. God, she's so good. I love that we're getting to see her stretch her acting chops. I love it when she's all crazy, sexy, cool, but she plays heart-broken woman in search of redemption and love so well too!

I know, Myka look so tortured when Pete was giving Helena a hard time (and though it was harsh, kudos to Eddie for selling Pete's pain in that scene because I felt for him even though I felt bad for H.G. too).

I do love that when Pete got up in H.G.'s face and was actually jabbing his finger at her, that Myka finally moved towards them.

I hope that in that scene Myka like quitely says, "Pete, please" really beseechingly and because it's his Mykes he stops and storms off, and then Myka and H.G. can have a little moment. Like Myka's all "He didn't mean that ... he's just upset." And H.G.'s like, "But it's true," all sad like obviously thinking about Christina. And Myka like reaches out to try and comfort her but her hand goes through her and they both sigh unhappily. But then their eyes meet, and H.G. can see that Myka still cares about her despite it all, and she gives Myka a brave little smile and Myka smiles back before they go to join Pete.

I'm actually 100% on board with Pete's reaction, he's definitely sticking up for Myka.

In the sneak peak when he shouts at her that 'whenever you show up, people die, people disappear, one way or another everything turns to crap'. This IMO is definitely referring to the fact HG betrayed Myka and she left. You can tell the the way the camera shoots back to Myka for her reaction, she looks so lost. :( Aww... is it Monday yet?
