Son, I am ... happy?

Lost Girl was entirely satisfying to me this week.

I enjoyed the hell out of pretty much everything.

Lauren, is a beautiful, glorious creature and Bo is absolutely adorable when around her (not to mention that Bo’s stupidity comes across as super dreamily heroic when she’s defending Lauren’s honor).

There were a lot of good lines this episode too, I wish I wasn’t so sleepy so I could type them all out, but there were some gems (from Bo, as well as from Kenzi, not to mention Lauren’s geeky glory).

Also, I’ve come to understand that my enjoyment of this show is directly related to how much Lauren and/or Bo/Lauren there is in episode.

This means that I’m bound to oscillate wildly between loving the show and hating it’s guts for as long as it’s on TV, because even though they sell the show as an ensemble, it’s really The Bo Show (feat. Kenzi and DJ Trick) with appearances of varying length, from Lauren, Dyson and Hale based on who Bo wants to/is boning at a particular time in the season.

Luckily, we seem to be going into a Lauren and/or Bo/Lauren heavy arc which means that for the next little while I’m likely to be loving the show a lot more than hating it.  So, I’m going to enjoy the increased Lauren screen time while Bo’s girl-boner for her lasts, because I know I’m lusting on borrowed time!

I seriously need Doccubus sexytimes....I mean the last one was like several episodes + months ago.

There was very little Bo moaning about Dyson, and a moment that (possibly) signals that Bo is finally letting go of the fantasy and is ready to move on (for the time being at least).

There was no out-right Doccubus sexy times, but Bo was super-crushing on Lauren the whole time they were on-screen together, and there was some nice eye-sexing between the two of them, but won't say more and spoil thing. Suffice to say, things are moving along (if slowly) on the Doccubus front.

Of course they had to have the mandatory Bo/Dyson shower dream sex *shrugs* No showcase, didn't you see the poll? 60000 compared to 10000 for Doccubus *facepalms*

No but seriously I love how Zoie Palmer portrays Lauren so sincerely. Why must they get interrupted every time Lauren wanted to spill her guts?!

I know, I was rolling my eyes, but it cracked me up that Bo had to like dream a personality for Dyson, lol. Dream!shower Dyson was almost likable, and it was the first Bo/Dyson scene in a while that didn't make me cringe.

That being said, I was glad to see her dream!stab him later in the episode.

I did appreciate that the writers had old!incestuous creepy Bo say "After Dyson and Lauren" though. It makes me hope that we'll get to see a full blown romance between Bo and Lauren before the show destroys it (and my heart along with it).

This. There's such earnestness to Lauren, which is why it's hurt so much to see her shoved aside in favor of growly mangst wolf.

Yeah, this is getting old. Just let them have to damn conversation already. I mean I'm glad it didn't happen off screen like I thought, but Lauren's been trying to say her piece for like 8 episodes a this point. Enough is enough!

There's actually a poll on the lostgirl/showcase website about whether or not Bo should end up with our dr. hot pants! As of right now, the YES is far out weighing the NO :D So lets hope the writers take the results to heart!

P.S. they did the same kind of poll but with Bo and Dyson and the majority voted against the pairing. AWWW YEAAAAA haha

I have no idea how much fan polls influence the creative direction of shows, but Bo/Lauren being so popular on them can only help!

Yeah, Lauren got out a little bit more this ep. I'll be waiting to see when she actually gets a whole episode for her. Bo was good this ep, funny even.I like the way her rivalry with the new Ash is working out as well. Something is very fishy about that Ash.

I was sad to see her disappear about halfway through, but such is the nature of Lost Girl I suppose. At least they gave us a nice fix in the first half.

And I'm enjoying Bo's scenes with the new Ash as well. I'm still not sure what to make of him, but for some reason I'm thinking that he might not be as big of a douche as he seems to be. As long as Lauren doesn't turn up beaten or something, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'm convinced the old Ash is gonna come in and be like, 'Bitch, step off' in his sexy-ass voice and then there's gonna be some sort of political pissing match over the position and Lauren's gonna end up caught in the middle of power consolidating, Bo or no Bo.

I have further theories, but this one in particular gives that nice subtext about me feeling that all members of Ash-hood are douches in sheep's clothing. So yeah.

Tonight's episode is definitely worth looking forward to. The lack of Dyson in the episode = a very satisfying experience. I just wish that Bo/Lauren scenes didn't keep getting cock-blocked *sigh*

As for promos for next week, I don't remember seeing any. After work I'll do a re-watch and see if I missed them during a commercial break, but there was none at the end of the episode :(

Lauren being so utterly Lauren and Bo stabbing Dyson? This episode was definitely an improvement. Bo turning her back on a 'dream life' with Dyson and Old-Bo pretty much admitting that she had been in love with Lauren (and Dyson) was a very nice indication that we could finally be moving in the right direction.

They'll do something to ruin the forward momentum, no doubt, but I'm hoping for some proper Bo/Lauren alone time before then.

Is it just me or is Dream-Dyson so much better than real Dyson?
