Just finished watching "Nikita", and ...

Way to season premiere #like a boss!

Seriously, if Nikita and Season Premiering were in prison, Season Premiering would be it’s bitch!

So much to love about this episode …

Nikita Mama Bearing, and worrying about Alex so much throughout the episode.  When Nikita got that “tearful” phone call from Alex, the concern and love and fierce protectressness that Maggie managed to convey was amazing to watch! 

That last confrontation between Nikita and Alex!  “I’m doing this because I care.”  I cannot even! 

Alex’s screams of pain like tore into my goddamn heart!  Lyndsy Fonseca, how are you so good?  And Maggie Q making my heart ache for Nikita as she breaks the girl she helped put back together … my heart, how are you so good Maggie Q?

I loathe that new guy Sean already!  Please do not hook Alex up with this douche!  Please!  She’s been through enough!

I love everything Amanda and Alex as well.  They dynamic between these two is so fucked up and yet so intriguing and beguiling.  I’m creeped out and turned on everything they’re on screen together, but no matter how uncomfortable I feel I can’t look away.  I nearly lost my shit when Amanda’s ‘Defiling Alex Now’ white shade of privacy fell down!  I’m gonna have fun watching them.

Percy actually managed to work up a little bit of menace this episode.  I found him more interesting in this episode than all of the first season!

“Aw, Nerd.  You’re lonely!”

LOL.  I love funny!Nikita, and it was nice to see Birkhoff worked back into the action.

In conclusion, I CANNOT wait for episode 2x02!

I second everything you said. I also love how Alex was acting over the phone to Nikita. She was having emotions cross her face even over the phone. Haha.

But damn. Nikita did point out that Alex shot her to save her life and I guess she felt she was doing the same. That's a hardcore breakup all the same.

Yeah, Lyndsy's face was conveying all sorts of emotions during that phone call. And I love how Alex blew her cover and got out of the car. She knew she couldn't do anything, but her natural instinct was to try and help Nikita in some way.

And yeah, that was one hardcore breakup. Nikita doesn't fuck around. She did try to get Alex to stop though. Still, the gun shot to the leg was like "do not fuck with Nikita, even if she loves you she will still shoot your ass!"

Michael is so not worthy of N.

This. Nikita is captivating and amazing, and Michael is just there ... with bad hair. He has no charisma or gravitas. So. Boring.

Amanda & Alex are like a car wreck you can't tear your eyes away from

My nax loving heart, omg. I was worried how this season would go and 5 minutes in Nikita was guilt-ridden over Alex and couldn't get her out of her head. And then that phone call, the care and love she still has for that girl. This is going to be an angsty angsty season.

And I'm not the only one that saw the parallel with the Season 1 opener where Nikita shot Michael in an alley to protect him because she cares, right?

I was so happy to see this! I thought Nikita wasn't nearly as concerned with Alex as she should have been in the last part of season 1, so I was glad to see the Mama Bear in Nikita come out. Fuck Michael trying to make her forget! You're jello, Michael, lime green jello and that's all there is to it!

Yeah, and it makes me happy that the Alex/Nikita scene was so much more intense and meaningful. Nikita and Alex sizzle and simmer and burn in a way Nikita and Michael never have and never will, and mirror scenes like that really show it!

I honestly don't even acknowledge Michael and Nikita as a couple. My mind just filters out their little romantic moments.

lol, I know. Me too. They are so boring they can't keep my attention. In my mind they are just co-workers with no chemistry.

And I was very happy to see Nikita actually worried about Alex.

I cannot wait for her to fucking pwn him! He's nice to look at and fun to hate so far, so I can deal with him. Certainly he's a better 'antagonist' than Michael was last season.

Oh and did you see Nikita's face when Birkhoff said that Amanda was running division. She's still scared of her.

I really hope that we get some more background on Nikita and Amanda. Nikita's reactions to her are very interesting and I want to know how/what Amanda did to make such a lasting impression on Nikita. Amanda must have fucked with her head something fierce!

Ugh, I was actually hoping for Michael and Nikita to be kind of broken up in the first few minutes. Oh well. Maggie portrays emo very well.

And Nikita emoing about Alex was awesome. I don't care Michael, Alex is always important to Nikita. Gawd.

When Nikita catches Alex before the Division strike team appeared, she looked SO heartbroken.

And the fight. I bawled my eyes out. Poor Nikita. Having to break her bb's arm and shoot her to make her understand how much she doesn't want Alex to fight.

and alberta fuckin' watson!! though i still think that shane west is woefully miscast as michael. he's still too much eli samler to be a bad ass. it's kinda like joshua jackson in "fringe" i don't by pacey being some badass super science stud..,

anyhoo, i find alex far more interesting than nikita and it think it's mostly do to the fact that LF can actually act. mQ easy on the eyes but i find it really painful to watch when she tries to "act" and it just detracts from what's going on. i think it works best when she plays to her strengths which are being a badass and looking hot while she does it.

yeah, i've been watching season premiere's of my favorite shows and BY FAR Nikita's was the best! although, i reserve the right to change my mind after watching Boardwalk Empire & The Good Wife. but i just can't see them measuring up quite as much. and PLEASE someone tell Nikita that Michael "is only a substitute"... also, i pretty co-sign on EVERYTHING you mentioned -- particularly 2 things: Sean is like having another asshole -- he's not needed and the whole Amanda/Alex thing... delicious!
