Lost Girl - 2x08 - Death Didn't Become Her

Another A+ episode of Lost Girl tonight!  "Death Didn't Become Her" was fun and suspenseful, charming and scary and gross, and just overall enjoyable with some nice ‘OMG OMG OMG’ moments thrown in as whipped cream on top. 

Opening scene:  Bo continues to win over my heart.  Such good, tragic girl-friending from Bo lately.  Use those big, wide eyes Anna!  Use them for they call to my soul!

OH DEAR JEEBUS, THAT SCENE WITH THE FLESH-EATER FAE BUTCHER GUY WAS ONE OF THE GROSSEST THINGS I’VE EVER SEEN.  His idea of pillow-talk *full body shudder* I need to bleach my brain repeatedly!

I wish that hungry-ass, sexy, powerful Bo the Lich described actually existed on the show.

Oh, Bo I love that you’re being helpful and SMART.  Helpful and smart!

“Blot.”  - There’s no reason that should have been sexy and cute, but it was!

Kenzi’s behavior this episode makes me wonder if she substituted alcohol for a whole lotta cocaine.

“Get it off me!  Get it off me!”  LOL.  That would have been my reaction exactly!

LOL I KNEW STABBING THAT PAINTING WOULDN’T DO IT!

“Geez, leave it to me to bring a knife to a gun fight.” - LOL OH, BO!  I’M FINDING YOU SO DELIGHTFUL RECENTLY!

Oh, mentions of Bo’s past.  They remember!

OH MY GOOD LORD!  THEY SHOT BO!  I don’t want Bo to feed off of Lauren … and yet I really want the imagery of Bo feeding off of Lauren.

NADIA’S BEEN CURSED?  Now they gotta find a piece of wood with a nail in it to reverse the curse?  Goddamn, every single clue they get is so shitty.  They gotta find a piece of wood with a nail it, ON PLANET EARTH, oh that shouldn’t be that hard.

She wants to buy Kenzi!  LOL.  $50 bucks?  LOL.  Oh, Hale, Kenzi is gonna make you pay for that one.

Seriously, this is maybe my favorite episode of Lost Girl.  I don't know, maybe I'm just still high on that scene and I'm over exaggerating, but it is a damn, damn, damn fine episode of Lost Girl.  I am super excite and shipping Doccubus in an insane way I haven't in a very, very long time!

Oh Lauren.....I actually do want Bo feeding of Lauren and apologizing profusely afterwards...and then make up for it *coughs*

Nadia's been cursed? By who? Perhaps the Light or the Ash so they can forever keep Lauren in their servitude?

It was pretty good, I called it immediately when Bo mentioned she couldn't possibly take all of them down. One thing I didn't get, if they are all walking zombies, why would they have any stuff for Bo to suck out of? As for Kenzi and her price, last time I checked she is Bo's Human not Hale's. He couldn't give her to the girl if he wanted to.

Agreed! Loving Lost Girl so very much right now! so bizarre, so flippin' funny! And Bo in the Con-Dar to save Lauren just made my head explode!!! But I can't help this feeling. It's niggling at the back of my brain. Bo being so magnanimous in helping Lauren with Nadia. Doesn't she want Lauren? Or does she love her unconditionally and is willing to help her even if it means losing her to Nadia? She seems to have given up on Lauren so easily, assuming that Lauren is still in love with Nadia and will be with her when she "wakes up". I just am having a hard time with that. Surely they wouldn't set up Lauren with this Nadia chica and then have Bo a free agent again. Poor Bo. But I very much liked the scenes with Bo and Dyson being a team instead of an item. They could do a lot with them working together that they can't do with them "dating" each other. Hale and Kenzi are also very entertaining. They are great duo, too! There are really so many great elements of this show. I just get this feeling there's still something Lauren isn't telling, something that will have all our hooters in an uproar when it comes out!! lol I can't wait!

I honestly didn't set the bar too high for this week, so I was completely blown out the water when I saw it.

Flesh-eater butcher fae was over the top disgusting. I had to look away for a solid 20min and still, feel ill.

I never felt anger or annoyance when Dyson graced the screen. Kenzi was a bit off, almost as if she wasn't concerned at all for Hale's job. Uh, was that man-pack of abs real? How does one hide that for 2years?

Looks like the show is establishing a new arc with Bo channeling some creepy, bad-ass character vibe. I agree with you. Possibly one of the best episodes yet.

Oh my god. I've just seen this ep and oh. my. god. It's actually a little scary how all of a sudden the writers just started getting Lost Girl /right/. And Bo! She's the character I've wished she would be all along! She's so *flail*, I just don't know what to do with myself. And Lauren just being...Lauren is just...omg this show makes me so unarticulate lol.
