Another A+ episode of Lost Girl tonight! "Death Didn't Become Her" was fun and suspenseful, charming and scary and gross, and just overall enjoyable with some nice ‘OMG OMG OMG’ moments thrown in as whipped cream on top.
Opening scene: Bo continues to win over my heart. Such good, tragic girl-friending from Bo lately. Use those big, wide eyes Anna! Use them for they call to my soul!
OH DEAR JEEBUS, THAT SCENE WITH THE FLESH-EATER FAE BUTCHER GUY WAS ONE OF THE GROSSEST THINGS I’VE EVER SEEN. His idea of pillow-talk *full body shudder* I need to bleach my brain repeatedly!
I wish that hungry-ass, sexy, powerful Bo the Lich described actually existed on the show.
Oh, Bo I love that you’re being helpful and SMART. Helpful and smart!
“Blot.” - There’s no reason that should have been sexy and cute, but it was!
Kenzi’s behavior this episode makes me wonder if she substituted alcohol for a whole lotta cocaine.
“Get it off me! Get it off me!” LOL. That would have been my reaction exactly!
LOL I KNEW STABBING THAT PAINTING WOULDN’T DO IT!
“Geez, leave it to me to bring a knife to a gun fight.” - LOL OH, BO! I’M FINDING YOU SO DELIGHTFUL RECENTLY!
BITCH, YOU BEST NOT MAKE BO FEED OFF OF LAUREN!
“I know I said we should spend more time together, but this isn’t exactly what I had in mind.” LOL
Oh, mentions of Bo’s past. They remember!
OH MY GOOD LORD! THEY SHOT BO! I don’t want Bo to feed off of Lauren … and yet I really want the imagery of Bo feeding off of Lauren.
“It’s not a drink it’s a hug!” LOL Kenzi!
PUT THE DOCTOR ON THE TABLE! - OH MY GOD WHY IS THIS EPISODE SO GROSS AND SCARY?!?!?!?
BO’S IN CON-DAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OVER LAUREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF ONLY THE EGYPTIAN ZOMBIE DUDE HAD LOOKED LIKE JESSICA MARAIS INSTEAD OF A ZOMBIE EGYPTIAN DUDE!
I LOVE THIS EPISODE!
Oh, Bo! I want to give you a hug!
NADIA’S BEEN CURSED? Now they gotta find a piece of wood with a nail in it to reverse the curse? Goddamn, every single clue they get is so shitty. They gotta find a piece of wood with a nail it, ON PLANET EARTH, oh that shouldn’t be that hard.
“Second heart? Second heart! She had a second heart!” - lol, only on Lost Girl … or Star Trek.
She wants to buy Kenzi! LOL. $50 bucks? LOL. Oh, Hale, Kenzi is gonna make you pay for that one.
THE LAST SCENE! THE LAST SCENE!!!!

MY EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, this is maybe my favorite episode of Lost Girl. I don't know, maybe I'm just still high on that scene and I'm over exaggerating, but it is a damn, damn, damn fine episode of Lost Girl. I am super excite and shipping Doccubus in an insane way I haven't in a very, very long time!

Date: 2011-11-14 09:41 pm (UTC)I'm actually really pleased with how Bo's been acting lately. I think she's trying to be mature about the situation because she cares about/loves Lauren and doesn't want to make Lauren's life any more difficult and/or push Lauren out of her life again.
I mean after learning that Lauren sold herself into slavery and has been living as someone's pet for five years in order to find a cure for Nadia, Bo would have to be a huge jerk to be to immediately demand that Lauren forget about/abandon Nadia to stay with her. And her refusing to help Lauren would be just as bad since Lauren has put her life on the line numerous times for Bo, and in doing so put Nadia's life on the line too since Nadia's revival is tied to Lauren being in good standing with the Fae (not to mention that Lauren was still helping Bo even when Bo was revenge banging Dyson left-right-and-center while simultaneously treating Lauren like shit AND asking for her help).
Bo owes Lauren, but I think she also really cares about her and wants Lauren to be happy even if it means that she doesn't get what she wants. Anna Silk's been doing a pretty good job showing Bo's longing for Lauren beneath the guise of support. Like Bo wants to be with Lauren, but she's being mature and hoping that Lauren will come to her instead of trying to force Lauren's hand - and based on the end of this week's episode that approach seems to have worked!
I'm still scared that these writers are going to really mess this storyline up somehow, but for most of this season this handled the relationship between Bo and Lauren pretty well and I am currently pleased.
And I totally agree about Bo and Dyson being much more tolerable as just partners (not to mention Dyson is much more likable without 'Bo issues').
I just get this feeling there's still something Lauren isn't telling, something that will have all our hooters in an uproar when it comes out!
Oh geez. I hope not. If she's still holding something back after how reasonable and helpful Bo has been, she'll deserve to get her ass dumped/yelled at.
If there's surprises to come I hope it has more to do with what Nadia was up to that got her cursed - and I hope the information is new/a surprise to Lauren as well - cause it'll hopefully bring Lauren and Bo closer together while driving a wedge between Lauren and Nadia.

Date: 2011-11-14 10:54 pm (UTC)Well Bo did go all con-dar crazy for Lauren so we know she really cares for her. If the last scene is any indication then Dr. McHotstuff still wants a relationship with Bo. Why would she insist on Bo seeing Nadia if she were still in love with Nadia? Lauren is not that clueless, she knows how Bo feels about her. Ok show, don't go doin anything wanky on us! Please?
Oh yea, I was also wondering about your thoughts of the U.S. release of this show. Do you think they will have to change/edit alot of the content for a US audience? I hope they keep it just the way it is and let the US see what an awesome Doccubus show is all about up in here!
