NEVER HAS AN EPISODE OF LOST GIRL GIVEN ME SO MANY CREYS.
Damn, episode! Damn. So fucking intense. I wanted to hug all the cast members with ovaries, fer real!
Lauren! My beautiful, beautiful Lauren! First you made my pants happy by doing science all sexy-like and then your proceed to shatter me and make me feel all the feels. Lauren's desperation and dedication to helping Nadia even as the Nadia she knew slipped further and further away (and actually started to scare her) was really beautiful. Lauren really is the best girlfriend ever. And then ... and then the shower scene! I went from being all 'rawr, side-boob' to like shaking in my boots. Zoie Palmer needs to be given all of the awards because I was having a physical reaction just from watching her! And then that last scene with Lauren! Lauren's devastation. Zoie Palmer makes crying art, people. Art!
The Doccubus Shipper in me did squee a little bit that it was Lauren being put in immediate danger that made Bo take decisive action. Bo was unwilling to get blood on her hands earlier in the episode, and though it was heartbreaking, I couldn't help but love that did whatever was necessary when it came to protecting Lauren.
I never really cared all that much about Kenzi/Nate, but I felt for Kenzi's struggle so much this episode and the sacrifice she made to stay with Bo. I love Bo and Kenzi's friendship so much. They really are the heart of everything. Just characters talking about Bo and Kenzi no longer being in each others lives gave me heart palpitations. Don't even think about it show! Don't even think about it.
Bo, oh Bo. Girlfriend had 'a no good very bad day' x 1000. I'm saddened that she wasn't able to get her sexy on with The Glave, but I was happy that she was able to deal with The Glave in her own way. But everything else involving, Bo ... my heart! Kudos to Anna Silk though cause her face did all sorts of things to my heart, especially the look she got on her face when Lauren asked her to handle Nadia *slow clap for Anna*
Thank god Bo and Kenzi had each other to curl up with at the end of that day (though typing that makes me think of the hellish situation Lauren was left with to deal with on her own *and the creys are back*)
Also THANK THE LORD THERE WAS NO DYSON! Hale got screen time and actual things to do and Sir Brood A Lot was nowhere to be seen!
I cannot wait for the rest of the episodes! I love this show!

Date: 2012-03-13 02:01 am (UTC)It's okay, I know that feel! That Bo took that final step for Lauren is kind of romantic even though the situation as a whole was awful and heartbreaking.
But now I'm worried that both Bo and Lauren will be so traumatized by what they did to Nadia, they'll never be able to hook up together.
This is definitely gonna to cause issues between them, I think especially on Lauren's part. But Lauren did ask Bo to kill Nadia, so Lauren shouldn't be mad at Bo for actually doing it. I just see a lot of guilt on Lauren's part (for not realizing something was wrong with Nadia sooner and for wanting her dead there at the end) and Lauren having issues letting herself be with Bo after 'what she (Lauren) did' to Nadia.
So yeah, definitely more Doccubus angst is on the way. I hope we do get a scene next episode of Bo at least trying to comfort Lauren though. It wouldn't surprise me if Lauren didn't allow it (for long), but I want the attempt to be made because Lauren needs all the hugs.
No! Kenzi and Bo belong together!
This! Luckily Kenzi is smarter than Bo and Trick and she realizes this and will make it so.
I'm glad that Hale at least called Trick out on all of his sketchy secrets and tried to get things out in the open. Trick has caused a lot of problems by trying to control people behind the scenes/sharing info selectively.
