Dude, you kind of have this thing about grouchy/stoic/badass blondes with an edge of woobie, don't ya? (And we love ya for it!) Though your Tara is equally awesome too. Loved Eric's (accurate) thoughts about why she's the better choice than Jessica for a dangerous assignment. Also all of Pam's 'I'm hella worried so I look annoyed' concern. Her inability to turn it into words - but it's okay because everyone -knows- and... d'aww. Eric persistently giving a damn out one of the few people he does (even though he knows he's gonna get shot down - again), then teasing Pam mercilessly about not getting any when he will. Because he can. -snickers-

I really want Eric and Tara to bond next season over Tara being fucking badass, and not just for a newborn but in general. I think he'd appreciate having another warrior type around.

And I like writing the Eric/Pam maker/progeny bond almost as much as I love writing Tamela. Good maker/progeny relationships make me swoon (I'm so sorry Jessica got saddled with such a shitty maker). The Northman Clan just give me such feels!

Finally had time for this as well - and it was brilliant. I like this a lot more than the others. Everybody acted exactly as I think they should, and as I wanted. The maker/progeny bond was just perfectly expressed in this fic, as was the relationship between Pam and Tara, and the brother/sister relationship of Nora and Eric. Despite Pam supposedly being her enemy, she gives Eric the proper advice on how to deal with her worry. And of course, Pam and Tara were so amazing, both alone and together, and incredibly sexy even without having sex.
