Great Scott ... she looks like Emma Frost!
Jul. 9th, 2006 11:34 pmOkay, so I've loved Ashley Scott since way back, like Asha Barlow on Dark Angel way back and don't even get me started on the awesomeness that was Helena Kyle. But as I was the CBS Jericho promo I realized that Ashley looks almost exactly like Emma was drawn in Phoenix: Endsong (my favoritest and the hottest Emma evah!) and my love for her grew exponentially (or at least enough for me to even say that it doesn't even make me miss her brunette days ... which I've never said before.)

See! Not I'm not saying Ashley should be cast should Emma make it to the big screen since her winsome smile, playful smirk, sunny disposition and southern charm are pretty much the anti-thesis of Emma (I almost can't picture Ashley being cold and aloof ... such a cutie pie), but she certainly looks like Emma and for that *licks*
And since I'm on an Emma rant ...
Older Emma (+40)

Deborah Kara Unger (Grace, beauty, talent out the butt, and tall, icy good looks. Deborah would definately bring an Emma to the table to that could freeze you in place with a tilt of her head, and then charm the pants off you)

Connie Nielson (Her portrayal of Lucilla in Gladiator is almost exactly what Emma is like in my head. She was able to be cold, aloof, tragic, regal, and beautiful. *dreamy sigh*)
Early - Late 30s Emma

Jeri Ryan (yeah, I went with a picture of Seven of Nine ... deal with it! ;) )

Tricia Helfer (yeah, Tricia gets two pictures cause she rocks ... and I'm totally showing my national spirt!)

Charlize Theron

Stephanie March (seriously, Alex Cabot is Emma Frost without the white clothes and telepathy!)
Young Emma (-30)

Katherine Heigl (seriously, like any picture of her is perfect. Plus, Kate's got the body ... you could definately see hers being the best body money could buy ... and I am in no way insinuating Kate's had any work done ... just that she's a goddess ... Mmm)

Olivia Wilde (My only reservation with this choice is that she would be a more 'wounded' Emma, than a 'will mentally DESTROY you' Emma. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. And yes I saw her on the O.C. and I maintain that her 'menacing stance [was] merely mildly alarming and [her[ roar [was] less than full-throated!' tm Anya)

Kristanna Loken (I think she's a much better actress than her filmography indicates, plus she's got the look, physical presence of Emma. The only thing that scares me is if she were to attempt an accent [see: BloodRayne ... wait, don't see BloodRayne under any circumstances, I must have gone made for a second] Okay, fine she's only on the list because I love her and would like to see her in a movie that hopefully doesn't suck *hangs head*)
And, that's all I've got for now. But mmmm, pretty!
*goes back to watching Hex and wishing Cassie and Thelma would make out again*
*P.S. if they never do, DON'T tell me! False hope is still hope ya'lls*

Date: 2006-07-12 08:32 am (UTC)hmm, Stephanie March could be the daily Emma (like Clark Kent), but I cannot picture her being a superhero.
totally random, I watched the latest Sugar Rush episode a couple of days ago and "Thelma" (can't remember her real name, something with Reaper???) has a cameo in it. Awesome cameo btw *g*
