fembuckJust finished watching the newest episode of Blade: The Series and I think that the writers and producers were trying to killing me! Seriously, if it wasn't for the previews of the next episode I might be a ranting, raving nutcase right now. You don't just do that without any warning!
1. OMG, they blew up Chase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I saw Blade and VampSurrogate escape into the sunlight, I was like "Chase is so screwed", but I thought that she was just gonna be mad about Blade escaping out in the sunny streets of Berlin. I did not expect the bomb he had planted to like start blowing her face off! I was literally shocked into silence. Chase is my strawberries and cream frappicino! You do not fuck with my strawberries and cream frappicino!!!
Luckily however, it looks like my precious is not dead and has just been rendered extra crispay. Certainly, Chase wasn't her lovely, snarky self in the previews all smoking and charred in the body bag, but I'm certain that after a healthy blood transfusion and another episode or two she'll be back to normal.
Really should've known Chase was in trouble when Marcus didn't send his precious little sparrow Krista to Berlin with her. (don't worry Krista, I still love you I'm just bitter that Chase closely resembles my barbeque pit at the moment)
Seriously, producer dudes ... that was like, not cool at all. Do not fuck with Chase or I will smashyourfaceintoajelly!
2. Charlotte is cool. I love evil little girls. Plus, Glynis is totally Charlotte's bitch and it amuses me to see a grown ass woman doing the bidding of what looks like a 12 year old! Charlotte and Glynis are my new dynamic duo, and better have screen time next week to make up for what I'm assuming will be the lack of Krista/Chase screentime while Chase grows her skin back. Also, I love that she's totally onto Marcus's smarmy ass and knows that he's up to no good. Plus, talk about making an entrance, I so totally want my own giant bodyguard to carry me into rooms and then vanish from my sight at the wave of a hand.
3. Chase you were dumb. I can't believe she didn't check the washroom stalls or anything. Krista you were dumb too (maybe even dumber since you're supposed to have all of this fancy ass military training and everything). Still I guess Krista kinda had an excuse since she was all battling her inner demon trying not to eat the bleeding HostageGirl. Still, dumb, dumb, dumb. I kinda like that Boone is still alive though because I wanna see more vampire politics and fighting between the houses.
I guess dumb was like the theme of the night though since shooting up next to the blood bath and leaving a vile of Blade's serum behind was also way dumb. I'm interested to see how that loose end will come into play later on because this show has been pretty good so far at brining back plot points from previous episodes.
4. I want to hang in the passenger side of Krista's imaginery Mustang (only without the visions of death and destruction)! Though pissy/angry, growling Krista as she watched Boone was all kinds of hot.
Krista also actually kind of impressed me tonight by being smart as well as hotter than tobasco sauce. Best defacement of a book ever! Too bad Marcus is too bloody anal that he noticed his book was sticking out like half a centimeter more than it usually did and figured out what she was up to.
I was kinda hoping that she would tell Marcus to take a sugar frosted fuck off her finger at the end and chug the Aurora, but I think that Marcus is telling the truth about the serum being unstable and definately do not want to see Krista decompose. I just wish that her keeping her cover didn't need to involve cheesy meaningful hand clasps and close standing with a symbolic sunlight background or whatever.

"OMG, totally right about Krista and Chase!" They're so, so cute, and putting them together would be an interesting problem for Krista working undercover.
lol, I know. They are totally crushing on each other (especially Chase). Though this week I thought Krista was giving Chase's burnt husk some really caring, concerned (read: LOVING) looks. They're probably snuggling down in Medical as I type (I'm onto you Krista! I know you wanted to go down there to be with your lovah!)
Also, if Krista really is developing actual friendships/bonds with Chase (and mumbleMarcusmumble) it will be really interesting to see how she deals with being undercover and loyalites that are becoming blurred. If she really offers to turn her mother next week that would definately be a step towards the darkside and something Blade would totally not approve of.
I just keep waiting for one or the other of them to kick Marcus' ass in defense of the other.
Oh I would so totally love to see that. Not only because it would involve Marcus getting his ass kicked, but would be like a public declaration of their complicated love :D
And am I the only one who thinks Charlotte looks a little like the girl that plays Hermione in the Harry Potter movies?
I've heard others say this as well, so you're not alone. I kinda think she looks like a young Evan Rachel Wood in Victorian ladies finery, but I can see the Emma Watson resemblance as well.
