So, I've only seen 10 minutes of Knight Rider and I'm declaring it awesome! Now keep in mind I'm not declaring it awesome because it's a good show ... granted it's only been ten minutes but I think it's safe to say it's no Battlestar Galactica. It may be a fun show (ala Fastlane, I'm getting a Fastlane-ish vibe) but again it's too early to tell.
My Declaration of Awesome comes totally from the fact that in the the first ten minutes the show had Sydney Tamiia Poitier: (visual reference below)
Oh hai, Jungle Julia
In a bikini under a beach shower, and then had her walking into her apartment where a naked girl was in bed waiting for her.
Sydney Tamiia Poitier as a lesbian cop who surfs = me watching this movie all the way through, and the show (if it ever makes it air) because I'm shallow like that and I'm not embarrassed to admit it!
Mmm, 5 feet 10 inches of gorgeous ass-kicking, girl-kissing chocolatey goodness. Niiiiiice, very niiiiice.
Also, chicks clipping police badges onto their pants is never not hot. Of course I think I'm basing this statement solely on Det. Olivia Benson, Det. Dani Reese and now Agent Carrie Rivai but still ... never not hot!
Question: Was it just me or did the actress that played Sarah look a lot like Olivia Wilde in some shots? I know it wasn't Olivia Wilde, but she looked enough like her in quite a few shots to make me pine for Olivia. *sigh ... drool* Olivia Wilde...
Edited because it is not awesome or Fastlane!fun, it's kind of awful. The good things I can say are:
1. Sydney Tamiia Poitier is ridiculously good looking.
2. She is even hotter with a gun.
3. The theme song is good.
Also, it was nice to see Dr. Leah Brahms on my screen again. I love Dr. Brahms, and if I may say so Susan Gibney is aging beautifully. Seriously, she is one hot lady of a certain age. *nods*
