I'd imagine this would help with the respect thing. Or at least scaring the shit out of people thing. I gotta think that baby eating is evvvvvil even for vampires. Like other vamps would look at Charlotte and go "that's hardcore!"

Yeah, I love that even in her evil little 12 year old body she's able to genuinely command respect. Hell, even Chase seemed to respect her with her displeased "you're humilating her" to Marcus. Gotta love evil girls with a harem of beautiful women at her beck and call. *looks around for the 'sign-up to Charlotte for a day' sheet*

I'll be sad if she bites it because I like Glynis and she's a looker (seriously this show makes people hot. I'd seen the actress on The 4400 and been like 'eh', but as Glynis 'rowr'), but I with what she knows I think she'll have to bite it for Krista to remain safe. Unless of course Krista becomes a triple agent working for Charlotte to spy on Marcus as well. But that seems rather elborate.

Don't they have some sort of morality since the house of Lychin (sp?) is trying to avoid killing humans? Eating babies seems not only evil but seriously kinky, maybe even a weakness.
I wonder who's going to become Charlotte's second if Glynis is ashed.

I've formed a bunch of ideas on them that I've wanked from the movies and the show, but really it's all just a guess. I figure that only purebloods are able to breed (and that's how they keep the blood pure so to speak, cause if they were mating with turned vamps then you'd have a whole mud-blood *waves at Harry Potter fandom* issue). And I figure they have to age, slower than humans and Blade, but I figure not too slow since spending 400 years as a preteen would probably suck really hard, lol. Then again Charlotte is really tiny but holds a position of significant power so you would think that she would have had to have been around for a while for them to give her that much responsibility. *boggles mind*
Whatever ... *chants* Charlotte's cool, Charlotte's cool, Charlotte's cool, Charlotte's cool ... ahh so much better ;)

Speaking of tasty, is it just me that finds the idea of Charlotte eating babies as pretty damn funny? I mean, if a full grown human is a meal, does that mean a baby is a Happy Meal? Do you get a toy with that?

Like Charlotte doesn't look like much but I think that if a grown vamp like Marcus or Glynis were to fight her that Charlotte would hand them their asses. I see the purebloods kinda like the elders from Underworld in that they are much more powerful than others (which is why there's usually fear, awe and respect in people's voices when they reference them). Plus, I would give anything for a scene of Charlotte giving Marcus a beat down, because despite the fact that he's an asshat the visual of a 12 year old beating up a grown man would just make my day, lol.
Love the gifs, any Charlotte love is good love, and the dynamic between her and Glynis is just tasty.
Thanks :D And I love their interaction. Charlotte/Glynis scenes are always gold. I was looking forward to seeing more of those two in action but sadly I think it will be no more since I'm convinced Glynis is gonna be ash on Wednesday.

lol, it is kinda funny in a perverse way. It's like almost comically evil, especially the way she was cradling it and cooing at it. "I could just eat you up". That was so bad and so perfect at the same time. Maybe the baby was just a midnight snack (Oh I can't believe I just typed that).

Date: 2006-08-14 06:16 pm (UTC)I'm still trying to figure it all out too. Making .gifs is hard work, yo! For the speeds the way I've been playing around with them is at the bottom of each frame there's a little upside down triangle next to a time (ex. 0.004) and I've found my messing a little with those speeds I can adjust things enough to make it somewhat smooth. And when that doesn't work I just fall back on duplicating frames to add time and deleting them to reduce time.
Trying to get the .gifs down to 39K or under for icons then is a whole other can of worms, lol.

This is my dream for Chase and Krista. I mean, come one. They obviously want each other's bodies, and Chase has got these jealousy issues she needs to work through, and Krista got these vampire desire issues she needs to work through. Totally. Hate!Sex, on screen, for the entire episode! I've been thinking about Chase's jealously issues and it occured to me that Krista has something Chase doesn't, which is Marcus' blood in her veins, with Chase being Leichen(sp) instead of Chthon. That no matter how close she is to Marcus, she'll never be *that* close. And, man, you know with Chase that's gotta burn.

Chase takes great pride in her position as Marcus's right hand woman, and I think she's sees herself as one of the only people that really "gets" him. She doesn't just work for Marcus, she understands him, he needs her, etc. But then there's Krista who is connected to Marcus in a way that Chase can't be no matter how good a minion she is, Krista has seen bits of Marcus's past, they're connected by blood. That's gotta be a major burn, a [Tobias Funke]douche burn[/TF] even.
And that jealously has gotta just be compounded by the fact that even though she's a newborn Krista has proven herself very capable. When Krista came back from Berlin with the babygoo after Chase had gotten herself blown up trying to secure it ... ouch.
Plus, Chase is totally attracted to power and the fact that she's jealous of Krista's prowess but also turned on by it has got to suck. Oh Chase, so complex, so awesome.

I cannot second this strongly enough. If the series gets renewed - *threatening voice to whoever is listening* which it better - there totally needs to be a Chase background episode. I really wanna see what she was like before she was turned because I get the impression that she was very different and the Chase we know is like the woman that was buried deep inside of her (probably because I always got the impression that there was some truth to that speech she made at that AA meeting).

And that's basically admitting Marcus was right in turning Krista instead of killing her outright, opening the door for Chase to be usurped as Marcus' favorite. Oh totally, especially in that first meeting between the two Glynis had this very submissive, 'how may I please you?' demeaner going on that was awesome.
I love their dynamic but I could never write fic about them because while Charlotte is hundreds of years old, the actress just really really looks like she's in grade 8, which means I'll have to stick theory and suggestive icons, lol.
