I will say this for the Resident Evil movie franchise, they put out freaking kick-ass trailers for their movies. I absolutely love the beginning of this trailer, and the transition from the introduction to the kick-ass clips is beautiful. Then again, Milla Jovovich kicking ass is a beautiful thing, even with a bad hair cut. Also, I spotted La Larter in there looking gorgeous, kinda red-headed, and kicking butt in some bad-ass shades. I like that Claire seems like she'll be a saner version of Jessica, cause I loves me some Jessica. Plus, Milla Jovovich has chemistry with everyone, so there should be some good femslash potential between those two (Larter can save the self-love for Heroes)

I don't really know much about the games, so Larter's age doesn't bother me too much, although I can see how it would be irksome.

One of the points (I think) of RE2 was that yes she is just a teenager, but she's looking for her brother and she can take care of herself in a zombie infested town, she didn't need Leon's help all that much (or Sherry's but that's another matter all together).

All I can think it that they needed someone in Milla's age range to play opposite her for some reason, like Claire will be a foil for Alice or something, but it might just be stupid Hollywood casting.

I think it may be a bit of both. I think it's just be stupid Hollywood casting mostly though, lol.

But I'll get to stare at La Larter on screen for an hour and a half so I can't get too worked up, lol.
