Comment and I will give you three interests on your list for you to explain about. Post your response in your journal, along with these instructions if you wish.

[livejournal.com profile] the_girl_20 chose these three:

Famke Janssen

Because she's hot. No seriously. Okay, hot, smart, funny, talented, tall and um, likes dogs. My first introduction to Famke was in a tv movie called Model by Day that I saw when I was like 14 or whatever, and totally had erotic dreams about (Famke runs around in nothing but blue leather shorts and a bra and fights crime! Awesome!). I didn't really know who she was though at that time, and then Golden Eye came out and I feel under the spell of Xenia Onatop (Famke as a Russian spy that murders people by choking them with her thighs ... oh what a way to go!) and I was a Famke-ite from then on. Since then she's continued to act in a bunch of movies that I've loved, playing characters that I'm loved. For example: Judy in Eulogy (aka the one where Famke makes out with Kelly Preston) = Love. Jean Grey in X-Men = goes without saying! Totally cool. Hot for Teacher indeed! And, Ava Moore on Nip/Tuck = sinfully delicious. Famke plays a manipulative, sexy as sin, charming, transsexual life coach that seduces teenage boys, and kills them before dressing up in fabulous traveling clothes and jetting off to Paris! Seriously, Ava was a horrible, horrible person but I LOVED every second she was on screen. Famke is that good ya'll!.

So yeah, Famke Janssen, is tall, hot, funny, smart, Dutch love.

James McAvoy

Mmm, James. I was first introduced to James through the SciFi mini-series Children of Dune where it plays Leto Atriedes. And I promptly fell madly in girl!crush mode. Seriously, he was so incredibly smooth, and British, and debonair, and smart, and mysterious, and devoted, and cocky, and adventurous that I totally didn't even pay attention to the very attractive likes of Jessica Brooks and a personal favorite Alice Krige who were also in the movie. The wonder of James McAvoy totally overshadowed them.

Since then I've seen James in a bunch of things, Macbeth, State of Play, White Teeth, Wimbeldon, and Bright Young Things and he's been absolutely amazing in all of them. He's incredibly talented, has a lovely accent, fences, and has this fierce intensity mixed with this boyish vulnerability which is just incredible. Also, James has the sexiest, hottest, most awesome left eyebrow ever, and when he cocks it all supersexylike panties magically drop all around him ... or at least mine do. If he was like three inches taller I think he'd be perfect.

Spycest

This comes from my love of the show Alias. Basically, Sydney the main character discovers a long long half-sister, Nadia, in the third season of the series and then Nadia joins Sydney in fighting crime and they become roommates. Nadia is played by the ridiculously good-looking and charming and talented, Mia Maestro, and from the moment Sydney and Nadia meet they have a pretty intense connection, and so I shipped them and it is known as spycest. Sydney and Nadia and their weird chemistry together was just hot, and incredibly sweet. Their lives were just so isolated and horrible most of the time that the comfort and strength they took from each other was really intriguing and thus my love of spycest was born, which developed into other wrong-dirty-bad ships like Leto/Ghanima, Theo/Isabelle, Daniel/Alexis, Aeon/Una, Octavia/Octavian, Christine/Lea, etc. *shrugs* So yeah, spycest became an interest because of the insane hotness of Jennifer Garner and Mia Maestro, a lack of femslash-able characters on Alias, and the weird sexual tension generated by Garner and Maestro.

Word! So much word! Ava Moore was a fantabulous character and should have her own series. In fact, I'm sure I was going to write a story where she moved to Wisteria Lane and moved in on the Bree's son.

James McAvoy I have seen in exactly one film: Becoming Jane, which I liked him very much in. But I am now intrigued by your enthusiasm for him and I may seek out some of his other work.
