So, I only had a passing interest in watching Cashmere Mafia as I am one of like five people in my age group who doesn't, didn't and will never worship Sex and the City, which is what this show has been compared to again and again in the press (which probably means it's nothing like it).

Anyway, I just watched the new trailer for Cashmere Mafia courtesy of jetgirl78) and discovered that Lourdes Benedicto is playing Bonnie Somerville's love interest on the show.

Which means that I will at least start out watching Cashmere Mafia until it convinces me that it's good, or until they screw over the Bonnie/Lourdes relationship.

Also, is it wrong that I would be 100% guaranteed to watch this show until the bitter end if Lucy Liu's character was a Yakuza boss, or a vampire? No? Okay, I didn't think so.

Seriously though, genre shows pwn me, so I hope there's lots of funny and GoGA to keep my attention.

OMG, me too. I am so shameless like that. I would watch beyond obsession if Lucy's character was a yakuza boss again. 'Cuz that is some haaaawt shit. Liek WHOA!

*nods* I thought it was a perfectly reasonable statement, lol. It'd also be pretty much perfect is she had a sexy French henchwoman to help her out with her schemes, and got into a samurai sword fight at least once ... no scalping though!
