GoGA, you get me everytime!
Jun. 4th, 2007 08:28 pmSo, I only had a passing interest in watching Cashmere Mafia as I am one of like five people in my age group who doesn't, didn't and will never worship Sex and the City, which is what this show has been compared to again and again in the press (which probably means it's nothing like it).
Anyway, I just watched the new trailer for Cashmere Mafia courtesy of
jetgirl78) and discovered that Lourdes Benedicto is playing Bonnie Somerville's love interest on the show.
For your visual reference that's ...

Which means that I will at least start out watching Cashmere Mafia until it convinces me that it's good, or until they screw over the Bonnie/Lourdes relationship.

Also, is it wrong that I would be 100% guaranteed to watch this show until the bitter end if Lucy Liu's character was a Yakuza boss, or a vampire? No? Okay, I didn't think so.
Seriously though, genre shows pwn me, so I hope there's lots of funny and GoGA to keep my attention.

Date: 2007-06-05 11:13 am (UTC)I learned it in Evil Things To Do To People For Your Own Sick Amusement School. That's also where I learned the art of setting bags of dog doo on fire, and stealing candy from babies. Soooo useful!
Now I'm hooked and more than a little intrigued! :D
Mission accomplished. Now we can all go through the highs and lows of the show together (and by highs and lows, I mean be ecstatic when Bonnie and Lourdes are on screen and wish Bonnie and Lourdes were on screen when they're not).
