So normally I avoid eTalk like its gonna kick me in the groin, because honestly that's what watching it feels like most of the time, but when I saw that Leighton was on it, and I couldn't resist and I'm so glad I didn't.
It was !

Tanya Kim got a little (oh, who am I kidding A LOT) annoying with her constant comparisons of the show to The O.C., but Leighton was so delightful that her pose and grace out shone all of Tanya's idiocy.
Seriously, I want to hang out with Leighton and take her around behind the middle school and get her pregnant!
What I liked about this interview was that because it was long you really got to hear a lot of what she had to say, and I totally loved her thoughts on Blair (and that she has thought a lot about Blair). The humanness she brings to Blair is not an accident. Her thoughts on Eleanor being the root of most of Blair's problems, and her dissection of how Blair looks to herself in comparison to Serena is totally how I've interpreted the character. And I'm totally going to use her insight into Blair wanting her life to be an Audrey Hepburn movie in fic!
Tanya: So what are you going to do to keep your private life private?
Leighton: Um, I think I'm just going to live a really boring life.
Oh, Leighton! XOXO Janine
I also had to laugh when she talked about 24 and how her character died. I'll admit that back then I hadn't seen the light and I was literally clapping and laughing my ass off when her character died. She's right it was a very memorable death. I'm sorry though bb, I love you! Also, the concentration she put into saying Shohreh Aghdashloo's name was SO cute (and I love her for saying it so that I could confirm that I have been saying it right!) Not to mention it was so funny when she ran out of famous Canadians she knew of to list, and got flustered and was all like "I love your cars", lol. So sweet to give us the benefit of the doubt bb, but we don't make cars. We drive them and pay other countries money for them, but that's about it.
Listen, it's ten minutes of Leighton looking good, and being funny and well-spoken (she would pause and THINK before she speaks, people! Think! How rare and beautiful), you totally need to just watch it and fall in love all over again

That is a sign of the apocalypse though, right?
Hopefully an apocalypse of cuteness!
