Okay, so the episode is actually called "Gnothi Seauton" but I like my title better, lol.  The important thing is that I'm continuing to dig Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

First off, Cameron is love.  "Why are diamonds a girl's best friend?"  lol, oh Cameron.  Her little laugh after Enrique was all like "you don't talk much do you?" was hilarious.  But I think the best moment was Silent!HotGirl checking her out and Cameron then mimicking her pose leaning against the hood of the car.  I do not approve of the make-over Silent!HotGirl gave her though (and the horribleness of it puts me firmly on the side of Silent!HotGirl doing it just to touch Cameron).  Sarah's little WTF look during the make-up scene cracked me up too.

I also loved that Sarah and Cameron are like the odd couple and a buddy cop team all rolled into one.  I'm totally thrilled that they're letting the two characters spend so much screen time together.  The femslasher in me also loved that Cameron was following Sarah around like a little puppy.  Seriously, every time Sarah went into another room, Cameron followed her there like "Where did the pretty go?  Oh, here's where the pretty went!".  Her offering to give Sarah a diamond was also 'awwww' worthy.

I'm liking what the writers and Lena are doing with Sarah as well.  Some are complaining that she's not the unrelenting badass that she was in T2, but truthfully, you can't center a show around a character that is that hard.  I'm glad they're making her a little more human and accessible.  The little touch to John's cheek, smiling when she was talking about The Wizard of Oz, etc.  In this episode especially they managed to make her very complicated and fascinating, and I hope that complexity continues.  FemRambo would not be nearly as interesting as the nuanced character they're building up.

That being said, I love the touches of badass Sarah we got.  The motorcycle scene was hot, and I floved her just straight up pushing Cameron out of the window and then hightailing it out of there.  She was outta that window before John, and she was like at the end of the street before John and Cameron even started running!  LOVE!

John was also way more interesting, if also stupid this episode.  I totally understood him leaving the house and going to the mall though, being couped up for three days would make anyone, even John Connor throw caution to the wind a little, though going to Dennis the Beeper Kings house was a pretty stupid.  (Digression:  Hi, Sonia Walger ... you're really hot!)  I liked that John was a little more rebellious and independent this episode instead of being the Momma's Boy he was in the pilot.

And just because it was awesome, I loved Sarah's little "Jenny, you ignorant slut!" routine when Cameron was totally gonna killinate that cops ass.  Lena and Summer really work well together.

All, in all ... so pretty um, I mean ... cannot wait until the next episode!

Badass as she is, she's still human.

Yes. She's a human preparing for a war that won't happen (at the time the show started) for another ten years. She can't tell anyone because they'll think she's crazy. There are machines constantly being sent back in time to kill her and her son, leaving her with living with the fear that she can *never* let her guard down because the moment she does - someone will try to kill her. Dude, that's alot of baggage to carry for 16 years.

..she still keeps opening up to Cameron like she can't help herself.

Which is interesting because the only person Sarah can be completely human with is a robot. Just like the Terminator/a robot was the best father for John, a terminator is the best companion for Sarah (and in femslash-land that totally means *lovers*!)

"huzzah! she is so gay for teh sarah!"

Heh. And now things get *really* Freudian. Because Future John sent back a Terminator based on his Dead Girlfriend so Lil John can meet his future OTP, except, he's totally programmed Cam to be a sexbot for his lonely, gun-toting, closeted mother.

Honestly, I think it's far impressive and badass of Sarah to still be able to feel something and be sane at all. The woman is under a crazy amount of stress, and the fact that she hasn't let herself shut down or cemented her heart is a testament to her.

I like that we're seeing the wear and tear on her. It's not just "Robots and big guns! COOL!" It's "I like having no name, no identity because for a few days I can be myself and feel before ignoring everything I am and becoming something new for the world".

So true. It's fascinating and sad and strangely romantic.

Because Future John sent back a Terminator based on his Dead Girlfriend so Lil John can meet his future OTP, except, he's totally programmed Cam to be a sexbot for his lonely, gun-toting, closeted mother.

Future!John sounds far more interesting than Emo!John if this is the case, lol. Future!John must have totally been, "I suck with girls, I needed to date more in High School but Mom was such a hardass! Hmmm ... I know! If mom got laid more, she would have been more relaxed, and I could've had a girlfriend. Hmmm (again), Mom turned me into a manly version of herself, and I like this hot girl, therefore .... MOM WILL LIKE THIS HOT GIRL TOO! I'm so smrt ... smart!"

How weird will it be for him to then later fall in love with a lady who looks like his other mommy.

Dude, John's fucked up! I love it ;)
