Okay, so the episode is actually called "Gnothi Seauton" but I like my title better, lol.  The important thing is that I'm continuing to dig Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

First off, Cameron is love.  "Why are diamonds a girl's best friend?"  lol, oh Cameron.  Her little laugh after Enrique was all like "you don't talk much do you?" was hilarious.  But I think the best moment was Silent!HotGirl checking her out and Cameron then mimicking her pose leaning against the hood of the car.  I do not approve of the make-over Silent!HotGirl gave her though (and the horribleness of it puts me firmly on the side of Silent!HotGirl doing it just to touch Cameron).  Sarah's little WTF look during the make-up scene cracked me up too.

I also loved that Sarah and Cameron are like the odd couple and a buddy cop team all rolled into one.  I'm totally thrilled that they're letting the two characters spend so much screen time together.  The femslasher in me also loved that Cameron was following Sarah around like a little puppy.  Seriously, every time Sarah went into another room, Cameron followed her there like "Where did the pretty go?  Oh, here's where the pretty went!".  Her offering to give Sarah a diamond was also 'awwww' worthy.

I'm liking what the writers and Lena are doing with Sarah as well.  Some are complaining that she's not the unrelenting badass that she was in T2, but truthfully, you can't center a show around a character that is that hard.  I'm glad they're making her a little more human and accessible.  The little touch to John's cheek, smiling when she was talking about The Wizard of Oz, etc.  In this episode especially they managed to make her very complicated and fascinating, and I hope that complexity continues.  FemRambo would not be nearly as interesting as the nuanced character they're building up.

That being said, I love the touches of badass Sarah we got.  The motorcycle scene was hot, and I floved her just straight up pushing Cameron out of the window and then hightailing it out of there.  She was outta that window before John, and she was like at the end of the street before John and Cameron even started running!  LOVE!

John was also way more interesting, if also stupid this episode.  I totally understood him leaving the house and going to the mall though, being couped up for three days would make anyone, even John Connor throw caution to the wind a little, though going to Dennis the Beeper Kings house was a pretty stupid.  (Digression:  Hi, Sonia Walger ... you're really hot!)  I liked that John was a little more rebellious and independent this episode instead of being the Momma's Boy he was in the pilot.

And just because it was awesome, I loved Sarah's little "Jenny, you ignorant slut!" routine when Cameron was totally gonna killinate that cops ass.  Lena and Summer really work well together.

All, in all ... so pretty um, I mean ... cannot wait until the next episode!

Easily my two favorite moments of both eps. And I ain't ashamed to say that both made me want to touch my naughty place.

I like how Cameron is both practical and childlike all in the same breath. I think it helps that Summer played a similar character because it's not an easy balance to pull off. But yeah, that scene w/ the SHC brings the gay!text...

BTW, I like your title too. ;)

I wish the writing was a bit more...just more I guess. It feels kinda of flat, despite the really good moments. I suppose I can just attribute that to the show getting its legs, because HEROES kinda started the same way and then it did this really cool turn by the 5th ep. In any event, i look forward to reading more of your Lena Headey-sturbatio...erm poignant commentary about the show.

But yeah, badass Sarah is a pantie ruiner ... and I love her for it :D

True dat *is horrified that she just typed true dat* I'm delighted by how Summer is playing the role. It's a tough balance and I think she's doing wonderfully. I was afraid that they would make Cameron too robot and it would get boring or that they would make her too human and I wouldn't be able to believe it, but I like the happy medium they've got going on.

Also, I hope they have attractive women check Cameron out all the time ... because, hey, I would.

I know what you mean. I'm hoping it's a case of getting their sea legs as well, and in another couple episodes they'll have stepped up their game a bit. It usually takes me a few episode to begin to love a show as I'll give them a chance. Plus, it's such a pretty show.

lol, I give the audience what they want ;)
