Also, TSCC last night rocked my world!

The opening scene with Samson and Delilah playing was like porn for my eyeballs.  All I could think was "guh uh awesome" and there was some gurgling and squeeing as well.

Secondly, Shirley Manson is the sex.  I LOVE the brogue.  There needs to be more brogue.  Don't fight it gurlfrien', work it!  Moar Catherine Weaver!

Could have done without the John + Cameron equals true love, but I'm glad Cam is good again, and that she and Sarah had a little moment at the end.  Moar Cameron/Sarah screen time.  I hope John's new girlfriend shows up soon.

The hair cut = definite improvement.

John was kind of badass and kind of a bastard this episode.  I felt terrible for Sarah watching him go through it, but it was some nice character development for John.  I could actually see the new John being a leader (not necessarily a guy I'd like, be someone I'd follow).

Too much Charlie.

Just enough Derek.

Good use of Ellison.

Cameron sapling her cheek was high comedy.

The Catherine Weaver reveal was awesome as well.  I thought she might have been hiding somewhere, but I didn't think she was a melty terminator (whatever that model is) until the extended shot of the urinal.  Her "sorry, I didn't mean to" and pointing before she ventilated his brain was awesome.  MOAR BROGUE!

Me too. It was pretty anti-climactic since I think everyone realized it was John that killed him right off the bat. Did they ever even come out and say it in the episode?

Worse still, it's all fait accompli in that Sarah has to die for John to become Future!John because, you know, if Sarah survives she's totally leading the Resistance which makes John redundant. But she's neither ready to die nor willing to 'let' John grow up.

I don't have anything to add to this, other than "word". This came through really clearly this episode and it was heartbreaking to watch. Lena did a fantastic job, and Dekker manned up nicely (despite his hair!)

God, I just love their fucked-up, dysfunctional relationship.. that's still healthier than most families.

So true. The Connor Family is fantastic in all of its fucked up glory. But it's like, when it comes down to it, these people love each other fiercely and that's something special. Like as fucked up as things get, you know they'll be there for each other (probably shooting people and blowing shit up ... but they'll be doing it together!)

No they didn't which I found kinda frustrating since, at couple points, I kept vacillating between who really killed him. For such a big moment, it really shouldn't have been so vague. Between the exposition for new viewers, setting up the season arc, this plot didn't get nearly enough of the screen time it deserved.

When she was sobbing in front of the bathroom door trying to get John to talk? Killed me DED!! Like, GOOD GOD, would *someone* give Sarah a hug? And by 'someone', I totally mean Cameron and by 'hug' I mean 'deep tongue kissing'.

Heh, I cracked up during the scene where they crashed the car and John's standing on the overpass listening to Sarah scream. 'Cuz, you know the only reason he ran away is because if he didn't, Sarah would totally kill him. He was all 'hmm, face Terminator hell bent on killing me, or angry mother that I disobeyed.. I choose RUN LIKE HELL!'.

Oh, and then there was the scene where Charlie and Derek were stuck in traffic and the first thing I thought was - um, Charlie, you know that ambulance you're driving comes with sirens that makes cars get out of your way, don't you?

Josh reveals all that the episode didn't, in this podcast...Hmmm, but, here's a hint, "everyone" was wrong...Also, S was going to "court" Sarah, in a manner that Alice would never dream of with Bella...(And, VIP, though the podcast points to an mp3, it’s actually a .mov file with AAC audio. So, if you download, just make the file extension .mov... And, obviously, use a player capable of playing those - like quicktime or VLC)

I am so in love with this show...I blame so many PARTY train moments on the Sarah/Cameron..(I joined LJ just to access the adult content of the sarahcameron community)...Love your Camerah - you are intending more, right?
