Rachel Morgan is a dumb shit!
Jan. 11th, 2009 10:22 pmOH MY DOG GOD! I cannot believe that it took Rachel two and a half books to figure out that Ivy was gay.
OMG! How stupid is she?
What a dumb shit. What an unimaginable ignoramus.
How is she still alive?
Fuuuuuuck.
I mean, like goddamn! Really ... really ... ??? People hire this chick to detect stuff! They put their lives in her hands, and it takes her like a year living with Ivy to figure out that she likes girl bits? OMG, what a mutherfucking idiot.
That scene was priceless though. Fuuuuuck.
Also, I love Erica! "He treats me like I'm still crawling around in diapers trying to bite the dog!" HA!

Date: 2009-01-12 07:40 am (UTC)I'm on the fifth book right now so I can read the sixth (I fell behind) and my god, it only gets gayer.
And gayer.
Note: Calling out Ivy's name has a habit of fixing things in these novels. It's kind of hilarious. Come on, Rachel, stop for a second and think on the significance of that.
The fourth book will kill you. You know about the aura mixing thing and that whole scene is a game of 'oh hi, let's tempt the fuck out of the vampire because it turns me on but I'm still straight'. Denial, Miss Morgan. Agh.

But I really liked book four for that one particular scene...
But honestly, I think Rachel is brilliantly written and I find her very plausible. She's always been very much into men and there haven't been a lot (if any) women in her life that had made her feel the way Ivy has, so her confusion is very understandable. (Ok maybe she crushed on some girl in high-school but thought nothing of it.)
When she can do men, why do women? Even some totally gay people choose to live in a heterosexual relationship. I think that's why Rachel is so hard resisting.
