A Doctor in the House of Love ...
Apr. 13th, 2009 01:04 amI'm thinking that those Ms. Lonely Hearts engagements were taking up the time Adelle was previous spending with Claire. Adelle remained satisfied, but I think it's been a long couple months of Claire if the websites she's visiting are any indication.

meetcutie.biz??????
Because even 'mysterious, shut-in, hermit, doctors for secret organizations, with sexy facial scars' need a helping hand every once in a while.
Claire, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say you're one hottie I'd like to meet.

P.S. The picture has not been altered. I checked the episode (1.09 - A Spy In The House of Love, 4:49 approx.) and it is there. It's a really, really quick flash, but it's totally there.

Date: 2009-04-14 03:31 pm (UTC)Sure, the episode was setting us up with the train of thought that Claire is lonely and that she has no life outside of the dollhouse, but Joss (oh how I've missed you, sir) likes to set us lead us down one train of thought, only to come back and flip us around on it. I think Claire is dedicated first and foremost to the dolls. The girl has no life outside the house, but she never indicated that she's not ok with that.

I feel this way. I mean, I do think that not leaving the dollhouse in 3 months has to be related to Alpha's attack in some way. She didn't spend that much time there before, but I'm hesitant to go the 'Claire is a sad, lonely person route'. She's surprised me before, and I think that her reasons for staying are probably deeper than her being scared of the outside world. I mean, her attacked happened in the house, so she can't be running from it by staying there.

Maybe she feels partly responsible for the attack, had she picked up on the signs maybe it could have been avoided, etc.
*sigh* I LOVE this show.
