I really should, I keep hearing about how good the comic is. I'm just feeling daunted by trying to catching up on a gazillion back issues. My inherently lazy nature is holding me back on this one (it's the same reason I haven't seen any of Skins season 3, I just feel like I'm too far behind).

I do have some of the earlier issues downloaded though, so I should get my ass in gear. I love me some Barbara Gordon, and while it's going to take me a while to get over the fact that Black Canary is BG's side-kick instead of Helena Kyle, I'm pretty sure that I can adjust and embrace the homo of Oracle/Black Canary.

What about Oliver Queen? I thought he was cock-blocking them a little bit? Though, if we never see him I don't really care. I can ignore cock-blocking if it's kept to a minimum.

Basically, toward the end of Gail Simone's run Dinah retires. After that, there's Barbara's incredibly gay college rival coming back for revenge and mucho possibility for hatesex and control issues, but once Gail leaves the title, you're better off pretending that Dinah and Barbara went to Canada to be lady-married.

Although Helena Bertinelli (kinda like Helena Wayne, but she actually thinks to wear a mask) does show up and play Oracle's Big Gay Sidekick for a while. And is incredibly gay for Zinda, Barbara's time-travelling WW2 mini-skirt-wearing pilot.
