So, I finally saw the season premiere of True Blood and ...

Michelle Forbes is a goddess.  She makes everything better, and sexier.  It is really almost magical the effect she has on my body.  And the eviller she is, the more delicious I find her.  Maryann's smack down of Lettie Mae was like porn.  And the fact that she had her hands all over Tara as much as humanly possible, just like feeling Tara up in front of her Lettie Mae to rub it in her face that she was going to like take Tara back to her house and sex her til the early morn ... unf!  Papiya eating, lounging goddess Maryann using her sexy voice talking about ancient gods and human lovers, just ... excuse me while I change my panties.  She's even hot while smacking down her employees.  I honestly, don't care what she does, I will fucking love every moment she is on screen.

NO PAM?????  *cries*  Episodes always really feel incomplete to me if I don't get even a little Pam.  I just love her and her Victorian School Girl Giggle, and her J Crew Outfits, and her sassy one-liners so much.

I honestly think that if Pam and Maryann are on screen together for like even ten seconds I will jizz in my pants.  Seeing her in the previews for the next episodes numbs the pain somewhat.  But, I'm really in some deep Pam withdrawal right now.

Lafayette's alive muthafuckers!

Yay!  I was literally squealing with joy when Miss Jeanette's body was revealed.  I was so scared that my baby, Layfayette had been vamp food.  I mean, the man is rather downtrodden at the moment, but he's alive, bishes!  Yes!

Nerd!Bill is kind of awesome.  I really liked him in the scenes with Jessica in all his recycling, TruBlood cocktail hour geekiness.  Bill and Sookie, are a huge yawn however.  And the RL romance between Paquin and Moyer just makes any love scenes between them really, really awkward to watch.

I cannot handle it.

Terry sniffing Arlene's hair when she hugged him, was made of win.  I laughed so hard at that, and despite the creep factor I found it kind of sweet.

Between Police Woman Kenya and Andy Bellefleur, that scene in the police station where they were questioning Tara was like one of the funniest things I'd seen all day.

I kind of want Nan Flannigan to bite me.  Literally.  When she was all, "I'll see you in 12 hours", I was like "get in me nao, Nan!"  My taste in women should really, really scare me.  But instead, when I think about it I just get turned on.

Eric is FUCKING SCARY!  OMG!

I'm used to him being all like, "My name is Eric.  I am a Sherriff and my arms are the size of tree trunks.  Do you want to come behind my velvet rope?

But tonight he was all like ...

"My name is Eric.  I used to be a Viking.  I rip people's arms off and eat their groins while getting my hair did.  There is metrosexual fucking highlight foil in my hair and I can still make you poop your pants like a small child.  I will eat your babies.  Sit the fuck down, and use the bucket!"

Pam!  Hold me!

Seriously, I love this fucking show.  Cannot wait for next week.

Am I *supposed* to find Bill/Sookie romantic as opposed to creepy? It'd probably help if I didn't still find Anna Paquin woefully miscast as Sookie.

I know! Bill just looks so much older than Sookie, and acts like her father. It's just creepy on so many different levels. I also find Paquin really miscast as Sookie, I just find her completely devoid of like any charm. I never care about her. And on a completely shallow note, I don't find Moyer or Paquin attractive, at all, so sex scenes don't even offer any eye candy. It's just a big giant box of do not want.

What I liked about this ep was how many of last season's plot lines are being carried over into this season.

This. I was really happy to see the continuity too. And apropos of nothing, that scene where Sookie was given the check from Uncle Bartlet was like one of the creepiest things I've seen on this show. For like, one scene Anna Paquin actually managed some acting, and I was like squirming.

hen, of course, Sookie falls for Bill's pathetic excuse for an apology that DIDN'T ACTUALLY ADDRESS THE ISSUE!!

I didn't actually hate Bill's speech, I just hated that it was Bill and Sookie. The whole time he was speaking, I was like "This could be really romantic if another character was saying this to someone who's not Sookie." Then I started imagining Ivy Tamwood delivering the speech to Rachel and was swooning.

it really was the equivalent of someone setting off a flare every time she stepped onscreen. Everything just gets brighter and hotter when Michelle Forbes is there.

This. I'm already like 50% more excited for this show because I know I'm going to see her every week. Every single time I see her in anything, I'm just constantly reminded how awesome she is.

It'll be totally hot.. but soo not good!

This. It's awful cause I like Tara and think she's had enough pain heaped on her already, but I just want the two characters to spend as much time together as possible so that I can enjoy their twisted as fuck relationship and Michelle Forbes wicked hotness.

I really liked his scenes with Jessica.

Bill's alright when he's not around Sookie. I liked the scenes with Jessica too.

Alan Ball realized he went a little overboard with the Jason character last year. I almost found Jason tolerable.. still stupid but at least tolerable when he *wasn't* on my screen every other minute.

Totally. I was very relieved by the appropriate amount of Jason this episode. If it stays like this, I will not have to burn with hatred for the character. I actually think the actor is really good (that scene where Jason was all like, "It really made me *long pause* think!" I was dying), so I don't really want to hate on him.
