H.G's back and Myka's still totally gay for her! YAY!

H.G. Wells makes this show so much more enjoyable. Seriously. Smirk on Jaime Murray, smirk on.
In addition to H.G. being a hot, suave, clever, dashing, and charming badass female, this was the episode of good girlfriending. Myka was in fine form this episode, fighting fiercely forher lover H.G.
First, Joanne Kelly rocked that suit she was wearing throughout most of that episode. I could have watched Myka sitting on that park bench in that suit for 42 minutes and been completely entertained.

Mm. With the umbrella and jacket sitting beside her she just reminded me of a dashing Victorian gentleman in this shot. The outfit probably made H.G. feel right at home, lol.

H.G. tugged at my heartstrings Maura Isles style in this scene. I just wanted to wrap her up in my arms and give her a plastic police badge I'd found in my cereal box so that she'd know that I need her. In addition to Jaime just making my heart ache, I loved the connection between Myka and H.G in this scene. When Myka was all, "Bronzing was your time machine," the understanding in her voice made me swoon. And then once Myka sat down beside H.G. I just pretty much wanted them to kiss the rest of the time they were on screen together.

At least Myka got H.G.'s number. And because it bears repeating, Myka's outfit in this scene gave me the down low tickle. I'd have given her my number too!

This picture gets posted, simply because of Myka's "And I knew you slipped a tracker in my pocket at the funeral" line. Now matter how you interpret Myka choosing to let H.G. track her all over the world, it's awesome. Myka wanted H.G. to be able to make booty calls? Awesome. Myka wanted H.G. to be able to find her if she was in trouble? Awesome. Myka thought that they would need H.G.'s help so kept the tracker on her? Awesome. Either way, it shows how much trust Myka has in H.G. and shows how much she respects her abilities. Awesome.
Plus the, "I knew that you'd know that I knew that you slipped it into my pocket" part of the exchange was mint. I love their banter!

I love what a third wheel Pete was in this scene, and that he seemed to know it. The way H.G. kept her eyes on Myka the whole time, and would gaze and smile flirtatiously at her was entirely composed of win. Pete's face in the second pic says it all, "They're gonna make out tonight and I'm totally not gonna get to watch". I'd be sad too Pete.

This moment cracked me up. Myka and H.G. just losing their shit on Pete was funny, but I also loved how harmoniously they work together already. All on the same side of the table picking through Arty's bag together, screeching at Pete together. And all throughout this scene every time the camera focused on Myka, you could see H.G right in the corner because they were standing so close together it was impossible to just get a shot of Myka. CLOSE PROXIMITY = GHEY!
Poor Pete having to deal with two Myka's. They will always pwn him. But, lucky audience!

H.G's got a gun! I seriously loved H.G.'s tiny little Victorian lady gun. I loved when she tucked it into her waistband even more. I already knew I had a thing for hot ladies holstering their weapons (thank you Olivia Dunham!), but this just confirmed it. Also, I love what H.G. is a crack shot even when dying of hypothermia. Bitch is badass!

Lookee how happy Myka is now that H.G's been made an Agent. She's so happy she can get the sex in her own bed tonight instead of slipping out to meet H.G. at a motel. If I had free access to sexing H.G. whenever I wanted, I'd be smiling like Myka too! Go get it gurl!
And now ... a collage of Myka being a fierce defender!

I loved how passionately she defended H.G. throughout the entire episode. She took Arty on numerous times during the episode to stick up for her gal pal, and for that I applaud her. Also the look on Myka's face when she asked if H.G. had been bronzed again, killed me. She looked so scared and heartbroken (see bottom, right picture). I just wanted to hug her forever.
Didn't care about Claudia and Todd and was distracted by how oddly poofy Claudia's hair was all episode. Bye Todd, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Though I will admit that scene of Claudia and Todd in the park struggling awkward to remove their weapons was pretty hilarious.
I really do love Pete and Myka together (as friends and partners with no romantic subtext whatsoever). Pete's still a bit goofy for me sometimes, but their banter is really funny. I loved the scene with the hand gestures that Myka couldn't understand followed by the "bye honey" fake-out awkwardness.
I liked Arty's back story and sympathized with him for most of the episode (I'm with Pete I imagine most people would have done the same thing if they thought that artifacts were just useless junk), but at the end I ended up thinking Arty is a huge asshole once again. He's such a whiny little baby. I can't believe that he actually stormed out at the end like a three year old that wasn't given ice-cream. What a poor fucking sport. It's like, if he doesn't trust her, fine. But he could have acted like an adult about it. And [Claudia]Dude[/Claudia] having her at the Warehouse is a good way of keeping track of her. Plus, acting like a grownup instead of a punk ass bitch and shaking her hand might have gotten her to let her guard down around you and made it easier for you learn more about her and possibly more about what she's up to. Acting like a total wiener is just going to make her be on guard around you. Ugh. If he knows another story about why H.G. was bronzed then he should come out and say it, because his not liking her "just because" reflects poorly on him.
Overall, really good episode.
