I'm still loving Lip Service.

- There must be a fourteen year old girl trapped inside of me, because I can't help it.  I like Frankie.  I suspect the way I feel about her is the way ninth grade girls feel about Justin Beiber.  I know Frankie's a mess but I still think she's dreamy.  I just want to hug her all day long.  Okay, that's not all I want to do.  Taking a bath with her and um, photography with her also seems pretty fun ;)  The melodramatic teen inside of me also is digging Frankie pining after Kat  (cause she being sweet and all misty-eyed about it instead of douchey about it like in earlier episodes).  I know most viewers are Team Sam, and I do like Sam and Kat together, but deep down inside I'm Team Frankie for the long run.  The scene in Kat's bedroom with the sexy leaning against the door frame and the reminiscing made me swoon.

- Speaking of Kat, her boss is an asshat, I'm glad that she came clean to Sam about why she actually wanted that name checked, and even though I felt really bad for that cab driver, the last scene with them in the back of the taxi was pretty smoking hot.  Inappropriate, really, really inappropriate, but hot.  Actually coming to think of it, between the police station desk romp, making out on the street in front of Kat's office, and the taxi scene, I'm beginning to see a trend with these two.  They've become the 'get a room' couple on the show, but honestly I don't really care if they get a room or not ;)

- I continue to love Tess bunches and bunches.  I'm a little sad that there won't be a Tess/Lou reunion (or at least that it wasn't hinted at in this episode), but I am intrigued by Tess potential new love interest.  The "You look familiar" neighbour lady had a British Rose Rollins type of vibe going on, which I'm all about (mmm, Rose Rollins.  Let's just take a moment to appreciate her crazy hotness).  I'm looking forward to awkwardness and hot sex between those two.

- Speaking of awkward, nobody does awkward like the British.  Evidence:

1)  Ed's date scene was so painful by the end, but kind of hilarious.

2)  Also painful and hilarious was the lunch with Kat's parents.  God, her mom is a pill.  I loved that Tess just tagged along for free food and the opportunity to observe the crazy in action.  Her impersonation of Kat and Ed's mother after the lunch was awesome, as was her assessment of their dad.

3)  And don't even get me started on Tess's "date".  Dear god that scene at her date's house was hilarious and awkward as hell.  Her just sitting there while they snipped at each other was cringe-worthy, but ultimately thinking about the scene makes me laugh.

4)  Also, that Frankie/Jay scene was also awkward as hell.  I saw it coming the moment they were crawling on the floor to the liquor cabinet together, but when Jay was kissing away and Frankie was just like 0_o for about ten seconds I was cringing.

- Sadie is a crazy person.  A hot crazy person (I think the actress is gorgeous, and that bathroom scene might have single-handedly given me a shaving fetish) , but a crazy person nonetheless.  STAY AWAY FROM HER FRANCESCA ALAN!  YOU ARE CRAZY ENOUGH ON YOUR OWN!  And get down from there!  I have this awful feeling that Sadie is going to be responsible for some super-melodramtic cliffhanger ending at the end of the season and I am both looking forward to seeing what The Duchess of Crazy will come up with, while simultaneously dreading it.

- Also, because it cannot be sad enough ... JAY IS A DICK!  He and Dyson should get together and move to Douche Island where their punk-ass bitch tendencies will no longer be able to harm innocent bystanders.

In conclusion, I'm sad that the season only has like six episodes because I'm so attached to the characters now that I don't want to have to say goodbye to them for a year (or more) two episodes from now!

Woohoo! Douche Island never to return! Jay was gonna let Cat take the blame for him dosing the assistant in the bathroom. And Dyson is so jealous of Lauren he is like 5 year old! (they better not make Lauren a crazy pyscho lesbian)

And I have to agree with your observations whole heartedly, except one. Frankie and Cat in the long run, yes, it is inevitable and they would be so unf together. BUT! Frankie so has to earn it. There in lies all the fun. And drama. Tess is HI-larious and I love her madly!

I can't believe there are two more eps and that's it until, when? I hope it gets good ratings in the UK so it will be renewed and return quickly!

Just like Dyson on this weeks ep. of Lost Girl, Jay just made one dick move after another until I wanted to smack him senseless. He is such a sleazebag.

(they better not make Lauren a crazy pyscho lesbian)

I will quit the show without any remorse if this happens. I'm not even joking. Evil Morgana bugs the hell out of me, but Merlin also has Emilia Fox which keeps me going. Lost Girl has no Emilia Fox to keep me watching if they got the Evil Lauren route.

Frankie and Cat in the long run, yes, it is inevitable and they would be so unf together. BUT! Frankie so has to earn it. There in lies all the fun.

Oh, I don't want Frankie/Cat to happen immediately, like you said Frankie has to earn it. I just actually do want them to end up together by like the end of the series - whenever that might be. I think the actresses have great chemistry together, and they've got this star-crossed thing that makes me swoon. But yeah, Frankie definitely needs to prove herself and has to work to make Cat (and the audience) believe that she won't screw up again.

and that's it until, when?

I don't know! *sob* I hope not too long though. Season 1 isnt' even over yet but I want more!

Say what? I had no idea the show was only going to be six episodes long! I'm only now getting used to, to shows with only 13 episodes a season. Now I have to deal with 6 episodes. Ugh, that sucks.

Shhhh, me too. The girl has some serious problems and is terrible at dealing with them. She's trying though and that's a start. But she has a lot of work cut out for her. I think she could use Nikita to straighten her ass out. Now she could get Frankie ready for Kat.

And don't even get me started on Tess's "date".

I know! I wanted to so badly skip that scene it was so awkward, but I braved through it. Oh Tess, when is she going to catch a break? The poor girl. I want Lou to come back. I know she messed up, but I want to see Lou redeem herself and be the girl Tess deserves.

Sadie is a crazy person.
She really is! I wanted Sadie to come out and gently talk Frankie off that roof, but I knew that's what Kat would have done and Sadie is no Kat. Which is probably the whole point of her character. There's still a part of me that really likes Sadie though, but there's also the part of me that knows she is terrible for Frankie and wants her as far away as possible.

I know, right! 13 actually seems like a really good number to me, but 6 is too short. But at least it didn't get the Sherlock treatment of THREE episodes. When I realized that episode 3 was the end of Sherlock's first season I was beyond shocked.

Also, that .gif ... and remember that scene and it is SUCH an FML moment. I'm cringing just looking at it, lol

Thank god I'm not the only one crushing on Frankie. I know she's a mess, but I think she'd like to be less of a mess, and she's making more of an effort lately which is making me want to give her endless hugs.

Also, I love the idea of Nikita getting Frankie to shape up! Nikita totally could have Frankie in working order in like three months, and there would definitely be some hot girl on girl action in that household!

Oh Tess, when is she going to catch a break? The poor girl. I want Lou to come back. I know she messed up, but I want to see Lou redeem herself and be the girl Tess deserves.

Poor Tess, after that date and then neighbor lady closing the blinds on her I felt so bad for Tess. I think neighbor lady is gonna show up again, and hopefully will be good for Tess. But yeah, Lou grew on me a lot and I really want Tess/Lou to work it out. There's an awesome girlfriend in Lou just waiting to come out.

I was liking Frankie more this episode up until the got to the edge of the roof.

And for me to go Team Frankie...they just have to quit it with the hot Sam being fucking hot. Goddamn. I know people are going to concentrate on the cab scene, but the scene before it when she pushes Cat up against the wall...phew.

Yeah, I was practically rolling my eyes out of my head when she got up on the edge of the roof. Even as a Frankie stan, that scene just went too far.

Frankie is hot, and I don't know why, cause I never liked Shane, but Frankie is the whole other story.
Tess is great and my fav of the series. Bummed about Tess/Lou, guess Lou is not coming back.
I really can't help but looove Ed, poor Ed, he is my fav of the male population of this show, because he is the only not douchey one, hope he stays the same cute and dorky way.I really want to see him happy. Actor playing Ed is plain great.
Sadie rocks, I really like her with Frankie, love their combined craziness.

The reason why I prefer Frankie to Shane:

The former is portrayed by someone who is not only a better actor, at least from what I've seen so far, but is also stunningly beautiful. Her eyes alone could seduce you.

I think you've really hit the nail on the head here. Ruta Gedmintas is a very good actress. She imbues Frankie with a vulnerability that Moennig was never able to give Shane. Frankie seethes, she burns with emotion whereas Shane came across really flat and emotionless all of the time.

And yeah, Gedmintas is just ridiculously good-looking. Like breathtakingly stunning. When she's on screen you can't take your eyes off of her. And when she smiles ... *swoons*

My feelings exactly. Shane left me cold. I don't think I ever found her attractive or appealing. But Frankie from the get go was at least hot, and as the series has gone on I've developed a real affection for her. I totally understand how Frankie gets all the girls. Even knowing what a douche she can me, I'd be like, "she can get it". Shane, I'd be like, "Uh, I've got some reports to grade".

Bummed about Tess/Lou, guess Lou is not coming back.

I hope Lou makes an appearance again. I ship her and Tess pretty hard and I want to see maybe a Lou redemption arc set up for next season.

Ed is a really sweet guy. I'm getting so uncomfortable when he's on screen though, because I know when he tells Tess how he feels (and he's totally going to before the end of the season) that it's going to be AWFUL TO WATCH. Like it is going to be cringe to the extreme.

Sadie and Frankie. Damn. They are fun to watch, but I would not want to be anywhere near Frankie when she is around Sadie because the two of them together are a disaster. A hot disaster, but a disaster nonetheless. I hope Sadie doesn't get Frankie is real trouble.

Frankie the lovelorn and non-douchy version is a great improvement on the earlier inappropriate at funerals version of the character. If only we could see a bit more of that and a little less of the emo-girl/selfish idiot. The Frankie/Cat scenes in this episode - barring one - made me think I could get behind the pairing as an outcome (although not by the end of this series as there are too few episodes left).

I can't stand Sadie and I found the bath scene rather cringeworthy. I'm sure she's there for some heinous reason that very well might lead to the cliffhanger but I just wish we didn't have to see so much of her in the meantime.

I'm all in favour of sending Jay and Dyson to a remote island and forgetting about them. God, what a prat!

I liked Sam this episode and I thought the taxi scene was rather nice but I'm still not sold on the Cat/Sam pairing.

Heh, and 'so true'. I really like this lovelorn Frankie pining from a distance. I liked her a lot less when she was trashing that poor woman's apartment though. When she was sitting on the couch at the end looking absolutely pathetic as Cat and Sam left, I couldn't hate her though. She was in such sad shape that hating on her would have been like kicking a puppy. I think she's realizing that a lot of her impulses are bad (she did try to call Cat to talk before calling Sadie and getting pissed out of her mind) but she's gotta work more on controlling herself even when it's not easy.

The Frankie/Cat scenes in this episode - barring one - made me think I could get behind the pairing as an outcome (although not by the end of this series as there are too few episodes left).

This. Frankie is still way too much of a mess for me to want to saddle Cat with her romantically at this point, but Laura Fraser and Ruta Gedmintas have GREAT chemistry together and if the show keeps playing on it, while Frankie begins to grow up and become a functional human being then I would definitely be pulling for them. I really like the idea of a Cat/Frankie end game.

I liked Sam this episode and I thought the taxi scene was rather nice but I'm still not sold on the Cat/Sam pairing.

Yeah, try as I might I just can't commit to Cat/Sam. Sam is a good girlfriend, but as a couple they leave me feeling really indifferent. I think that's probably the point though. On paper Sam is the smart choice, but the heart wants what it wants and for Cat that's Frankie. When Cat can finally depend on her to be there and adult in the way Sam is then the Cat/Frankie relationship will finally happen (though of course given what a mess Frankie is that will probably be two seasons or so away).

God, what a prat!

I know. His girlfriend deserves so much better. I feel so sorry for her not realizing what an immature ASSHOLE he is. Hell, even Frankie deserves better than a friend that will molest her at her most vulnerable. Everything about that scene was awful.

Cat's boss is a homophobic prick - I just don't like the guy anymore he was ok before he knew she was gay now he's a tosser

This. He's either a mysogynist or a homophobe ... either way, I HATE. I hope Jay screws up that job so that the boss has to suck on his horrible decision.

I want the whole frankie/cat ship to sail but I really do like sam a lot.

This. I like Sam, but my heart is with Frankie/Cat (just like Cat's heart is still with Frankie despite what a good gf Sam is).

Awww frankie my boo I thought you were gonna jump good job ya didn't

I didn't think she'd jump but I was uneasy when she was up there. The pissy way Sadie said her name and looked at her made me lol though. Like when Sadie is judging you, you know you're acting like an idiot.

I'm following ruta and heather (frankie + sam) on twitter and ruta has said there is no word on season 2 yet :/

Boo. I'mma be following Ruta to the Borgia's (which I was already planning on watching), but I need me some more emo!Frankie, neurotic!Cat, and hilarious!Tess, not to mention Lou and Ed.

I'm so appalled at Jay! What a douche! First he gets the intern on drugs and fired, and makes Frankie cover for him, and then he sleeps with her?! I'm not angry about that in a "oi she's a lesbian" because as you said before Frankie would sleep with guys too, so, whatever. I think if they'd shown us more of Becky and Jay's relationship I'd have stronger feelings about it.

I was... hmm. I've always only been invested in Frankie's looks (I love the shirt/jumper combo, yum) so this episode didn't really tip me one way or the other, unlike last episode where I could really see where her behaviour was coming from. Nice comparison to Justin Bieber about how much you want to hug Frankie, lol. However, I must say I did have a small "aw, Frankie...!" moment when she said she loved Cat. Predictable, but still "awww".

And for a moment I thought the show was going to go there with Ed and Tess. Glad they didn't.
