FUCK YEAH!  Spartacus is back!

I am hardcore loving the prequel.  Batiatus being Batiatus, Gannicus being a rockstar, more Onenmaus, Merlotta, trainee Crixus, innocent!Lucretia, opium loving Gaia ... it's all so good!

I was all worried that I wouldn't enjoy it as much without my boo Ilithyia, but then Gaia showed up and all worries were forgotten.  Jaime Murray is the shit.  Seriously, the way that woman flirts is out of control.  I'm pretty sure she could seduce a desk chair.  And I just really, really, really love her for looking at every female in sight like she wants to lick every inch of their body.  I was afraid that they'd have Gaia stop being lesbotastic once she got a look at the gladiator's tight buns, but thank the lord she remains as lesbotastic as ever. 

Seriously, who wants to place bets on how long it takes Gaia to deflower that serving girl? Because this is Spartacus, my guess is next week.


I cannot wait for next week (and I'm already in mourning for the end of the prequel.  Six episodes is not enough to sustain me! *single tear*)

I disnt think I could love jamie murrray any more than I already did. Her as HG Wells, unf. I do hope they keep Gaia around for the rest of the season!

I know! I love Jaime more and more every time I see her. I mean, HG made my pants epically happy, and Gaia and her lesbotasticness is just out of this world.

Oh, Jaime Murray. I think she'll be around for the whole mini, but I certainly hope they find a way/leave the door open for Gaia showing up during season 2. I mean, Gaia and Ilthyia existing in the same space would be EPIC

I haven't watched Blood and Sand yet, but I couldn't resist to check out Gods of the Arena because of Jaime Murray. But GotA is supposed to be a prequel anyway, right? I totally want to see Gaia deflowering that servant girl (Diona?), omg. Is BaS as ... porny as GotA?

the thing that I love about this show, is that there's almost no way they won't show us Gaia deflowering that girl, and that's why Spartacus is the shit.

And yes, Blood and Sand is just as porny GotA. It might be even pornier. There IS more girl-on-girl in GotA though.

I flove this show. I don't know how to explain it - You can watch it on the surface, if you want, and enjoy the sex, violence, and betrayal. Or, if you want to watch it with an eye below the surface, it's smart and heartbreaking and something of a condemnation on all of those things you see at surface level.

So true. After the first episode I nearly wrote the show off, but I was so glad I stuck with it. I was surprised but thrilled, and remain so pleased with what a genuinely good show it emerged as.

I love the range of emotions this show takes me through.

this ep kinda broke my heart with all the Oenomaus/Doctore/Gannicus/Melitta drama ;_; I knew Gannicus and Melitta were going to do it by the end of the episode (all that flirting!), but I didn't think it was going to be under such circumstances D:

This. I can already tell that this storyline is just going to destroy me. I care about each of them (well, not so much the old Doctore, but I cared about Oenomaus's pain). It's gonna be great to watch, even though it's gonna hurt.

And yeah, the Gannicus/Merlitta scene was so rough to watch. Just their helplessness against the situation in the beginning, and then how they were able to kind of focus on each other and realize these latent feelings that had been building between them, only to be so cruelly ripped back into reality.

I can't believe how invested I am in Oenomaus/Melitta already.. in BaS it took me a while to get into Spartacus/Sura and Crixus/Naevia, but everything moves so fast in this prequel! only six episodes ;_; and then it'll be a different Spartacus. oh, my heart.

I'm hoping Gaia will be in Season 2. Since Batty is now dead, Lucretia is all alone, and possibly pregnant. We don't know what happened to Gaia. What if she's now in position to save Lucretia? Gaia and Lucretia raising the heir to the Batiatus ludus? Hmm... the possibilities. As long as Jaime's "I die at the end of everything I'm in" karma ends of course.

I'm hoping Gaia is in season 2 as well, and I think that the situation you laid out could be extreme plausible. If Gaia finds herself another rich husband by the end of GotA, then she would be the perfect person for Lucretia to run to.

Plus, I just want to see the delightful bitchiness that ensue with Gaia and Ilithyia on screen together.

I know, right! She was practically undressing her on that balcony. It's gonna be so much sweeter when it actually happens because we've had to wait for it now. I'm sure Diona will feel the same way about it ;) She looked pretty interested to be honest. Hell, I got the impression that Naevia wouldn't mind getting in on some of that action either.

The lesbian sex is 10x hotter than anything I saw on The L-Word and much more believable. If Xena had been a Starz original series, I can only imagine how intense the shows would have been. And Im sure Warehouse 13 authors can come up with a relic that will take HG and Myka back to Rome.
