I am legitimately looking forward to this!

I am already damp in the panties for in love with Abby (Rachel Taylor).

I suspect/hope that the show will make it easy for me to ship Abby/Kate (I wanna get down with the swirl, ABC!)

I'm really hoping that this will partially fill in the Legend of the Seeker (and by Legend of the Seeker I mean, Cara/Kahlan) sized hole in my heart.  Like, I know it will not be Legend of the Seeker, and that these girls can never hope to match the majesty of Cara/Kahlan, but I want them to come really, really close ... and then for the internetz to explode with femslash as a result.

Also, I don't understand how Australian girls are so hot, but I'm so happy they are.  I just watched The Secret Circle preview and other than getting a kick out of seeing Natasha Henstridge, Brian Kinney and John Connor in the same preview the only thing that grabbed my attention was the Faye character, and of course after a quick visit to IMDB I learn the actress is Australian.  I don't get it, but whatever you're doing Australia, keep it up!

And I saw the Secret Circle preview and the potential for femslash with Faye (the 'bitchy' brunette) and Diana (the 'nice' brunette), right away too!

I haven't read the series, but apparently in the book they have a really intense friendship and are almost soulmates in that they balance each other out and understand each other more than anyone else understands them. And I've heard fans speculating that if the book series had been started in like 2011 that Diana probably would have been written as gay, so there must be hints of saphhic leans for Diana in the books.

So, I hope that the show keeps those elements for the books, so that even if we don't get out and out femslash (though in 2011 I've been spoiled enough that I DO want out and out femslash) that they'll at least keep that intense friendship so that the internet can do what it does best!
