I am alreadydamp in the panties for in love with Abby (Rachel Taylor).
I suspect/hope that the show will make it easy for me to ship Abby/Kate (I wanna get down with the swirl, ABC!)
I'm really hoping that this will partially fill in the Legend of the Seeker (and by Legend of the Seeker I mean, Cara/Kahlan) sized hole in my heart. Like, I know it will not be Legend of the Seeker, and that these girls can never hope to match the majesty of Cara/Kahlan, but I want them to come really, really close ... and then for the internetz to explode with femslash as a result.
Also, I don't understand how Australian girls are so hot, but I'm so happy they are. I just watched The Secret Circle preview and other than getting a kick out of seeing Natasha Henstridge, Brian Kinney and John Connor in the same preview the only thing that grabbed my attention was the Faye character, and of course after a quick visit to IMDB I learn the actress is Australian. I don't get it, but whatever you're doing Australia, keep it up!

Date: 2011-05-29 03:58 pm (UTC)I honestly don't think ANY show will be able to do this. I just haven't had a show that's come close to making me fangirl like LoTS did and so I just want something to get me really excited like that, though LoTS was in a category of its own.
but if this show is as crackalicious ... I'm totally in.
This is what I'm hoping for, fun and addictive (with the dynamics and energy to make the internet femslash like it hasn't femslashed in a while!). I just want to be entertained (and aroused, lol). That's not to much to ask is it?
I think there's something in the water that the Australian government keeps hidden from the rest of the world!
lol, it's gotta be. Whatever they're doing, I hope they keep it up! It's almost gotten to the point where when I see a 20-something actress that I immediately love pop up on screen (big or small) I go to IMDB EXPECTING them to be from Australia and almost all of the time THEY ARE.
