Now, I adore Piper Perabo, but Covert Affairs is mostly awful.  It's summer and nothing better is on so I'll occasionally watch it, but it is by no means must see TV for me.  However, episode 2x08 made me realize that I would watch this show like it was my job if it was about Joan and her statuesque Lady Lover Megan.  Seriously, I now ship Joanie & Meg hard (and kinda hafta think that either the writers or the actresses wanted me to because they didn't just bring the gay, they also brought juice boxes and snacks for it)

It is true! I watched the epi and they DID bring juice boxes! I think I fell in love with Kari Matchett's double-dip dimples and her fierce heroine swagger! Course she hid the swagger in the presence of her hubby, I think she may be uber-undercover in her marraige!

And I partook of your parting gift and was extremely pleased to see Myka all vamped up and unf!-worthy! The show was interesting enough, I also fell a little bit for Harry and his double-dong dimples! Are the other episodes worth delving into in your humble opinion?

I need to thank you for bringing all these wonderful things to our attention, although Real Life would say Hey! Stop with all the lovely distractions! Frankly I don't think I could make it through this life without the lovely distractions! (e.g. Naya for one!)

This. And then her little talk with Annie about how there are two types of agents. With set ups like that (comparing Annie's romantic interest to Ben) I have to think the writers wanted me to believe that Joan and Meg had been lovers but broke up because Meg couldn't stay out of the field. And you couple that with the little look on Joan's face when she returned home, before she pulled herself together to greet Arthur and it was all an epic lesbian love story.

I just saw the Dresden Files episode, and while I continue to not think much of the show it was awesome to see Joanne in such a different role to Myka. She plays a very good seductress (though I would take nerdy!Myka over Bianca any day). I also love that Joanne continues to have crazy chemistry with her female co-stars, lol

Joan and Meg had been lovers but broke up because Meg couldn't stay out of the field. I believe this. Also, that on the rare occasions Meg shows up in DC, Joan and her still hook up.

She made a very seductive vampire. They was this mix of ferociousness and softness in Bianca that was rather enchanting.

The show on a whole is fairly mediocre. But Kari Machett (Joan) is delicious, and in this particular episode Joan and Meg are super-lesbo for each other, and super-fabulous. So, this episode at least is worth a watch.

Seriously. Joan and Meg made it win. but I also like Annie kicking Ben to the curb for Dr. Scott. Ben has always bugged me, but at least the Dr. Scott is kind of funny/charming.

Curse you for putting this thought in my head!

I thought this as Danielle was freaking out from Annie's reveal in the last episode. Actually, it made the scenes make more sense because the freak-out seemed way bigger than a sisterly one would be. Although, I suppose it was because of the kids.
