Now, I adore Piper Perabo, but Covert Affairs is mostly awful.  It's summer and nothing better is on so I'll occasionally watch it, but it is by no means must see TV for me.  However, episode 2x08 made me realize that I would watch this show like it was my job if it was about Joan and her statuesque Lady Lover Megan.  Seriously, I now ship Joanie & Meg hard (and kinda hafta think that either the writers or the actresses wanted me to because they didn't just bring the gay, they also brought juice boxes and snacks for it)

At the end Meg told Joan something like "The important thing is that you came." And I was in complete agreement.

Then Joan flys away with Annie and gives her a glass of champagne.

Best episode ever.

(I keep thinking Covert Affairs would be much more interesting, and hot, if Annie's sister were her wife instead.)

Seriously. Joan and Meg made it win. but I also like Annie kicking Ben to the curb for Dr. Scott. Ben has always bugged me, but at least the Dr. Scott is kind of funny/charming.

*sigh* So much better. It would be so, so much better. And since the sister is essentially filling that role anyway, why not just let her for reals.

Curse you for putting this thought in my head!

I thought this as Danielle was freaking out from Annie's reveal in the last episode. Actually, it made the scenes make more sense because the freak-out seemed way bigger than a sisterly one would be. Although, I suppose it was because of the kids.
