I love sleeping in my own bed again, but I do not love having to prepare my own meals and make my own bed :(

So much interneting to catch up on, but I did just finish watching Warehouse 13 episode 3x07 “Past Imperfect” and …

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT EPISODE?

It started out so cute and then …

...the rest of the episode happened :(

Thank god there’s a new episode tonight to erase the memory of this … whatever it was.  Bring on Myka saving Captain Janeway with H.G.’s grappling hook!

For me the only way the spin-off idea works completely is if H.G. still makes guest appearances on W13. Maybe only like two a season or something, but they need to have her free in the future and prospering (and in a perfect world in a relationship with Myka) in order for me to really get invested in the 1890s stuff. Because I do not want to follow H.G. on awesome adventures only to remember that she's locked away in some limbo prison. I need her to recover in the future and to be happy and productive in order to follow that journey in the past.

because clearly Myka is the only woman she's ever encountered who even comes close to her on an intellectual level and that's half the reason she's so drawn to her.

So true. They are really perfect for each other. This is honestly another reason why the spin-off (if/when it goes to air) would do well to tone down the references to Helena's social life. We know any romantic interests she has will ultimately fail, so don't waste our time with it. Just give her a Myka and good relationship in the guest starring spots on W13 so we know Helena ends up okay.

Oh, this spin-off. I both love the idea and am terrified of it. As long as Jaime's in the role I'll watch it though.
