Lost Girl's streak of not sucking continues!

They remembered Bo's past and addressed it!  There is an epic (both in content and cuteness) Bo/Lauren scene!  Lauren wasn't joking last episode about things just tumbling out of her mouth!

The Bo/Dyson angle of this triangle still bugs the hell out of me, but at least it really is feeling like a triangle (quadrangle?) now.  Plus, Lauren is still the one that Bo opens up to and reveals her feelings to, whereas Bo and Dyson continue to be Twi-tense about each other but do not actually talk to each other or seem to have personalities when in each others presence.

Bo's still dumb as a rock. But, I continue to be able to take it and, can almost respect, her righteous simplicity this season.  It's so nice to be able to cheer for the heroine again.

The Ash stuff and the Nain Rouge stuff continues to interest me, but I most definitely need this Nadia cock-blockage to be addressed soon.

Like, it doesn't have to happen next episode, but I can't take like seven more episode of Lauren's Nadia angst and Nadia's comatose state keeping Bo and Lauren in this holding pattern, where stealth kisses and verbal slips aside, nothing really happens.  I know that once Nadia wakes up the cock-blockage and angst will continue, but at least with all of the players awake and moving around things can start to move forward - or sideways, or backward, or whatever, but at least things will be moving).

Bo's nature

It begs a bit of a question that Bo, who hates her inner Succubus so much spent ten years on a killing spree. We know she tried to resist and her nature overpowered her and she tended to pick on people like the slime that nearly made away with Kenzi but still that's a big pile of bodies. As soon as she found out she was Fae, she did try and address the problem with Lauren's help and to a large degree can control it. I don't suppose Lauren's going to tell her about her 'ruler of the world' aspirations just yet, give it a few weeks... Bo telling her first loves family what happened ... please Bo, way to make the rest of the family disappear, have you not been paying attention to what happens to those who threaten the Fae with exposure.

Anna Silk was very good this week as emotional Bo, I can stand Bo being emotional when it's not directed at Dyson mainly because Dyson for some reason doesn't do it for me in his role as a feelings lover. He's somehow sexier when he's teasing or warmly protective with Bo and Kenzi. I don't see anything at all with Ciara.

Lauren's really all over the place isn't she? I don't what they intend to do to resolve the Nadia thing but I suspect our dear doctor is not going to be skipping off into the sunset with her reclaimed lover not without many a backward glance anyway. Their talk for some reason reminded me of one of those convoluted X files moments where the conversation is oddly inappropriate but the feelings are zooming everywhere. By inappropiate I mean like the kisses in the Pod room, Lauren's declaration rather than helping Bo with her situation becomes then a problem in itself. Lauren tells Bo she absolutely loves her then goes waffling on until it's all about her. I've seen comments on the net about how Bo didn't respond,it would be difficult to respond to all those contradictions and yet,I, as a viewer, can't help coming away with the conclusion that Lauren is hopelessly conflicted by her two loves. She's never been very happy about Dyson's claim on Bo so I think Bo is being very reasonable in the circumstances. Anna Silk's acting choice there was spot on, she remains a ball of hurt vulnerability allowing Lauren to play doctor verbally acknowledging that Lauren's all mixed up about Nadia.

Lochlan's turned out to be something very nasty hasn't he? Hmmm, I thought the fight guy looked a bit hefty for dinner but ewwww. LGfan

This. I really feel like it needs to be addressed and not with the accidental!Kyle story. I would like to have it CONFIRMED that Bo was basically a supernatural Dexter, picking off human scum to live (instead of just hoping that she was).

And I'd love for some Fae to call her on her past as well, and to really hear Bo defend herself. I don't need some deep, philosophical response, but it would be nice to have her on the record be like:

"Yes, I chose to live. I tried to minimize the damage I did, but ultimately I decided to kill to stay live and if I was still living the way I was before and someone came after me for it, I probably would have deserved to have been put down. But I know now that Fae doesn't NEED to kill to live. Now that I can control my powers, I won't ever be the way I was before again. I'm helping people now, not hurting of them. That doesn't erase what I've done, but it's a reason for me to keep on going."

Or something.

Bo telling her first loves family what happened ... please Bo, way to make the rest of the family disappear, have you not been paying attention to what happens to those who threaten the Fae with exposure.

I know, right! Trick was totally right to handle that situation behind Bo's back. It's a SECRET SOCIETY BO! You can't expose everyone to make yourself feel better. Giving that woman nightmares about human-looking monsters that eat people wasn't going to improve the quality of her life. Bo's desire to tell her the truth was SELFISH and idiotic (and it's Bo acting like that which really makes me want to hear her say that she only killed bad guys because sometimes I wonder about her).

I can stand Bo being emotional when it's not directed at Dyson mainly because Dyson for some reason doesn't do it for me in his role as a feelings lover.

This. I like Bo in emotional scenes with Lauren, or Kenzi, or Trick. Dyson as a character is just so cardboard and when added to the manufactured angst of him and Bo it just leaves me so cold.

Bo and Dyson are just so horrible for each other, and I feel like the pathetic 'romance' between them will always hold Dyson down as a character, because he has so much more chemistry with everyone but Bo (and Ciara actually), but they're constantly pairing him up with Bo.

I've seen comments on the net about how Bo didn't respond,it would be difficult to respond to all those contradictions

Yeah, I'll rag on Bo, but Bo's been pretty damn great in this situation. People would complain about her being a mega-douche if she declared absolute love for Lauren too. The situation sucks. If Bo tells Lauren she loves her, she puts pressure on Lauren about a situation that Lauren can't hope to resolve with Nadia still in a coma (and possibly making Lauren choose her over a woman she sold herself into slavery for when Bo still does have feelings for Dyson would also be a real asshole move).

Lauren is absolutely conflicted (and stuck), right now and Bo knows it.

Bo's handling of this situation is really the only adult handling of anything I've seen her do. And her dedication to Lauren during this really fucking awkward and weird-ass situation they are in speaks volumes about Bo's feelings for Lauren. The writers can write about Bo/Dyson all they want, but Lauren's the one I see her displaying real, mature love for.
