Oooh! And later on you can write dimension-traveling fics where Cara/Dahlia where they're both Mord'Sith meet these Cara/Dahlia! That's always fun.

In any case, I can't wait for more Melisande fic (or Kushiel Trilogy in general), especially inspired by Kushiel's Chosen, where Melisande pulls some of my favorite 'Magnificent Bastard Chess-Mistress moves by Melisande'.
