Does Kate Moennig always dress like a fifteen year old boy?

Enquiring minds want to take their mind off of the pastel tie dye.

I've actually seen Kate Moennig dress up like an 16 y.o. guy in the Young Americans before (if you haven't seen it, it's actually kind of interesting as a gender bender series), and she was better dressed there, so I can't say for sure what's up with her dressing down here. -.-;;;;;

I've seen a couple episodes of the show, her storyline was actually the only one that interested me, but I couldn't be bothered to keep up with the show.

I don't actually mind the way Kate dresses, I think she's pulls off the look well (except for the hair, but then I've always had issues with her hair), it's just that there doesn't seem to be any difference whatsoever between the way Kate dresses and the way Shane dresses (other than the fact that Kate wears hats quite a bit).

Oh how I wish that was the case, but the picture were from Feburary '06 before she was cast on TLW. And well, even if she did use a five fingered discount on it, it would mean that she had to have liked it enough to shove it in her bag before running away yelling "later bitches" over her shoulder, which isn't much better, lol

I blame the camera work and maybe Ilene Chaiken for being such a tight ass that actors have to spring for their own costumes. No blame gets assigned to the Nordic goddess. (If she did purchase it, she must've been doing boatloads of peyote that day.)

Heh, "frumpy". Ever since watching Project Catwalk I can't hear or read that word with hearing Julian McDonald in my head and giggling. And I second your opinion about the crappy camera work making Kris look frumpy. From the bra shot from tonights episode you can see that she's as svelte as ever, and the shirt sure as hell didn't get bigger.

Hmmm... okay, I can see I'm in the minority here, but I kind of like the pastel tie dye shirt. It has that escaped from the sixties charm, but updated 'cause it's pastel.
Plus it makes me all nostalgic for school, and Telegraph avenue, and the Blue Nile restaurant. Now that I live in country club town, it makes me all tear up whenever I see some good old hippie sensibility. Especially on someone who bathes regularly.

But enough about the shirt, is that a wedding ring that I see on Kris' left ring finger? ZOMG! Did the two crazy kids go ahead and take the plunge?

Aww, okay I'll give it a rest about the tie dye shirt. It's really not that bad of a shirt, it just surprised me ... and then really really amused me that it was actually her shirt.

I will blame TLW word for making it frumpy though thus causing me to mock it, since it looks much better in the Conference photo than it did on the show.

Especially on someone who bathes regularly.

I wish! I hadn't even noticed the ring, but then went and looked at it and got all excited and decided to do some research (yes, research is what I'm calling looking at pictures of Lokinator) and discovered that she just seems to like to wear a ring on that finger :( Here (http://img314.imageshack.us/img314/1500/kl19qa.jpg) in 2003 she's got a ring on it, here again (http://img414.imageshack.us/my.php?image=4thatwsa192bw.jpg) in 2004, and here again (http://img44.imagevenue.com/view.php?image=07687_Kristanna_Loken870_122_324lo.jpg) in 2005. In the pics I've seen from 2006 she seems to be wearing the more flattened ring like in the tie-dye picture above, which could be significant, but she has a lot of flate rings too, and has probably just switched up the rotation (as a ring wearer myself, I know that its important to switch things up every once in a while)

It's unusual to wear a ring on your left ring finger in Europe unless it's an engagement/wedding ring, that's what made me wonder. But eh, it's one of these quaint traditions, like girls should date boys instead of other girls, which make no sense whatsoever and I'm perfectly happy to ignore.

lol, so true. In fact that "I bagged me a really hot girlfriend" high is how I'm assuming Ewwwwwwwwwuh Boll talked her into making Dragon Seige or whatever that movie is called. He probably showed up at her trailer while she and Michelle were ... um, rehersing and she was like "yeah, yeah" so that she could get back to memorizing Michelle's body with her lips, lol.

It's pretty ususual in North America as well. She probably does it because it's hard to find rings that fit and the ring finger is one of the only ones she can use. We're the same height and I know that's an issue for me. I ususally wear it on that finger, albeit on my right hand, but when I used to wear more rings I would wear one on my left ring finger as well.

Yeah, the fingers in the pocket girl totally knew that she had it in the bag. Her badass stance seems like it would attract Kristanna cause she'd want to dominate her (lol, jokes about that are never going to get old), plus that chick looks like a tall cross between Mandy Musgrave and Nikki Reed which is pure good.
