Yeah, a Lokinator interview with afterellen.com! Kristanna discusses Painkiller Jane, the L Word, Michelle Rodriguez, being an out actress, playing superheroes and much more ...

Check out the interview for the answers to the following questions and more!

AE: I had a chance to watch the first two episodes, and I have to say there already seems to be something of a queer subtext developing between Jane and her friend Maureen, another agent. I was wondering if this was intentional.

AE: I wanted to ask you about the interview you did with The Advocate a few months ago. What kind of reaction did you get to that interview?

AE: Some of those scenes that you shot with Kate Moennig seemed like they might be really uncomfortable physically, like the car scene. Was that fun to do or was it really awkward?

AE: Oh, OK. How did you feel about your performance in BloodRayne?

AE: What is the status of your relationship with Michelle Rodriguez now?

*dreamy sigh* Oh Lokinator how I dig thee! As usually an insightful, classy, humorous, and charming interview from the everyone's favorite Norwegian-Amazon-Equestrian-Farm-Goddess. Stay gold, Kristanna, stay gold!

1 more day until Painkiller Jane! 1 more day until Painkiller Jane! 1 more day until Painkiller Jane! 1 more day until Painkiller Jane!

Edited: because I just found a link to another Kristanna interview on Painkiller Jane here.

Omg, I think this is the most sentences I've ever heard Shane string together in a row like ever. And miracle of miracles, this Shay and Paige storyline continues to succeed at making me like Shane. She was both funny, and cute in this clip.

And might I say, that it's nice to see two characters on this show talking and getting to know each other before automatically sexin'. Like *gasp* !

Long, luxurious, luscious, legs ... mmm. I love my Amazonian PTA moms, I love 'em!

This clip also makes me really wish I we were living in a bizarro world where Loken did guest star on Ugly Betty as Paige Sobel. I mean, Jared could be little Jared Meade, and then Alexis would have this totally gorgeous, supportive, emotionally healthy, sweet, funny woman as her love interest to help her through the tough times, and give her [mickey avalon]good good lovin'[/ma].

Okay, so I haven't seen the whole episode yet, but many are saying 4x06 of TLW is the best episode of the series, and based on the clips I've seen so far I'm inclined to agree. The "Phone Tree" opening sequence is like one of the best things I've ever seen on the show, like it was really cool to see this women actually acting like *gasp* friends. The whole "some lesbians you have to re-breakup with" bit, and the relay line between Bette, Kit, and Alice slayed me. Not to mention Jennyx10 with her fake Italian accent screwing the vagina wig over. Soooo good.

And of course, I really like my girl Kristanna's role in this episode. Paige didn't really have much to do but be supportive and adorable while her hair blew gently in the wind, but she did it well. And the scene with Paige and Shay, made my ovaries smile with its cuteness. Not only is Kris a ridiculously good-looking, Amazonian, Norwegian-American goddess, but she's good with kids, awwwwwww.

Shane clips from TLW 4x06 )

All I can say is that Angela Robinson continues to rock. And someone really needs to give this woman her own show to write because it would be the bestest ever. I mean, with her love of girls kicking ass, making out, bringing the funny and dressing in cute outfits there's no way that it wouldn't be a hit. Please, please, please Hollywood people's give Angela Robinson her own show. Lot's of people will love you forever if you do, I swears it!

I haven't seen the whole episode yet, but some lovely sole has made a compilation of the Shame ... I mean, Shane clips from the episode ... which means Kristanna!

All of the scenes in the compilation are decent, though if you're only interested in the Loken then you should skip to about 2 minutes in. She starts off the scene with her top off, which is how I think Paige should be introduced in every episode from now on (I'd also love it if they could manage to find a way to include the back tattoo as well).

Loken does a good job this episode with her nervous, slightly awkward flirting with Shame. And because this is TLW there's a least one line that makes you turn your head away from the screen and wince in sympathy pain.

But overall, well done. And you can already tell that when Shame gives into the hotness she'll be on the bottom. Paige don't play around.

Omg, the pastel tie dye shirt that I've been mocking since the stills of 4x04 came out was not the doing of a catty costume designer who was 'jus jealous' of Kris's mad hotness like I had speculated. The culprit was ... Kristanna Loken herself! )

*shakes head*

But this begs the question ... does TLW actually have someone who dresses the characters professionally, or do they just let the actresses come on to set in whatever they want? Could Mia Kirshner really be to blame for Jenny's ... um, unique fashion choices? Does Jennifer Beals own nothing but fabulous power suits that show off her ass? Does Kate Moennig always dress like a fifteen year old boy?

Enquiring minds want to take their mind off of the pastel tie dye.

Oh, it's okay Kris, I'm mostly joking. I still love you *blows kiss*

Also, Johnathon Rys-Meyers is ridiculously pretty and Henry Cavill is Manly and totally hot now! )

I heart PTA Moms...especially Kristanna Loken shaped ones )

Oh man, my girls episode hasn't even aired yet and the TWoP L Word board is already alight with people calling out for her Nordic blood! (or for her to come sit next to them!). What you may ask could have these Lphiles calling for my ladies blood, well this quote apparently from a recent interview interview:

Her character will be on the series through the rest of the season, but unlike Shepherd and Matlin, Loken has no plans to return to the show, regardless of whether 'Painkiller Jane' is a hit. She called Chaiken and the other producers and writers 'fantastic,' but said her 'L Word' run was soured by 'the most difficult cast I've ever worked with.' 'I'm not naming names,' she said. 'Let's just start with the fact that it's an entire show of women. And the amount of egos and insecurities and cattiness that can go on with a bunch of women - that's what you get. It attracts certain people that want to do something different in their career, but the girls were tough. You know?' Loken continued.

Personally, I'm in the 'come sit next to me' category (oh, come on at least pretend to be surprised by that!). All of the behind the scenes news on this show has always been more fascinating to me than the actual show, and this season it's been especially fun because of the main casts bitterness with everything Chaiken. Ever since Erin Daniels departure certain cast members have been bitching about how things just arent' the same, pretty much everyone has complained about their storylines, Beals and Holloman are purposefully acting against direction in their quest to get Bette and Tina back together, and everyone has been disgruntled and vocal about their dissatisfaction with the shows ever expanding cast. Not to mention that the cast apparently had absolutely nothing to do with Ion Overman when she was on the show, former cast member Karina Lombard was openly mocked on some season 2 DVDs, and other guest stars not to mention Sarah Shahi (before she and her Shahi's were fully initiated) talked about the fact that it was a difficult cast to integrate into. And this was before their storylines went to shit, Dana died, and the ensemble went from around 7 to 17.

Sounds like a fun work enviroment to me. I'm shocked that Kris didn't find it to be sunshine, lollipops, rainbows and everything that's wonderful.

It's hilarious to me, that with BloodRayne under her belt and unemployment looming in the future that she was like "later bitches!" and asked not be brought back. Thank goodness Painkiller Jane came along though because I don't think I'd have been as amused if it meant that I couldn't watch Kris on my TV every week.

Still, despite all the drah-mah, based on the highlighted parts below I think I'll enjoy Kris's run on the L Word, brief as it may be.

Did she choose her route down the genre road? 'Not really, not really,' Loken said. 'I feel like it chose me.' She laughed, and added: 'I've been this height since I was 18 years old. On 'The L Word' it didn't really matter because we're all the same lying down, and that's what we did for half the show.'

Anyway, I'm glad that my girl is in fighting form thanks to Painkiller Jane because if she encounters a genuine L Word fan on the street there just might be a throw down.

Totally can't wait for this weeks episode!

So my cold is coming back with a vengence and I've been feeling like baboons ass all day, I sound like a drag-queen phone-sex operator, but my friends today is a good day ...

*drool*

The wife-beater ... the bad-ass pose ... the pouty lips blowing smoke ... the coal rimmed bedroom eyes ... the ... the sex, ladies and gentlemen, she is the sex.

There are words that accompany this picture, I know you're looking at the picture and thinking 'who the hell cares about words, I'm staring at monochromatic, glistening sex!' but the words 'towel' and 'fresh out of the shower' are included if that gives you any extra incentive to read! )

Only two more weeks until Kristanna shows up on TLW, but for those in withdrawl here's some Painkiller Jane goodness that should help tide you over. Hi-res goodness even :D

Painkiller Jane Promo Pics ... sooooo pretty )

Article - Loken Feels No Pain In Jane )

And the obsession continues! KristannaLoken.net posted a New Year gift of a couple promo shots for Kris's upcoming gigs. Seriously, ya'll, three months of new Loken projects *wipes tears* It's like it's my birthday ... only a month late.

As Pagie Sobel on 'The L Word' )
Lovely *sighs, twirls dreamily* Seriously, Shane gets to have breakfast with that first thing in the morning! Lucky bitca! I want a Nordic goddess serving me freshly squeezed OJ, looking all sexy and shit. [Whisper]Also, is it just me or can you kind of see up her dress?[/Whisper]

Wintry Painkiller Jane promo )
Okay, is it just me or does it look like she could totally take both of those guys in her sleep? Seriously, they cannot contain her. Anyways, that's a lovely jacket, and she looks cute in tuc. Also, I like that her Painkiller Jane hair is a strawberry blonde instead of the BloodRayne shade. Normally, I'm not gaga over blondes, but I like Kristanna blonde and this shade is close enough to keep me happy.

Honestly though, I'm looking forward to Painkiller Jane more because ... well, it couldn't possibly suck worse than the L Word does. Also, it will have guns, and karate chops, and garters, and zingy one-liners, and questionable science, and Vancouver actors all of which are things I greatly enjoy! Granted the L Word will have girl kissing, but there will likely be talking before, during and after which will just ruin it (the mute button truly is an exquiste thing when anyone not named Alice or Carmen's Ass is on screen).
