Variety says Dushku will star in the Whedon-penned series "Dollhouse," which has been given a seven-episode order by Fox.

"Dollhouse" follows a top-secret world of people programmed with different personalities, abilities and memories depending on their mission. After each assignment -- which can be physical, romantic or even illegal -- the characters have their memories wiped clean, and are sent back to a lab (dubbed the "Dollhouse").

The show centers on Dushku's character, Echo, as she slowly begins to develop some self-awareness, which impacts her missions.

It's official Dollhouse FTW!

I am SO happy with this news! Let's just hope that FOX has learned its lesson when it comes to Joss and that it will give Dollhouse a full season. After they screwed the pooch with Firefly, hopefully they've realized that Joss Whedon shows attract awesomely fanatical fans and that these people will physically force others to watch it and that the numbers will grow.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! My tv screen has missed Eliza dearly. It's so 'blah' without her. The only Eliza goodness it's had is reruns of Buffy and Wrong Turn. Which really, as much as it pains me to say it, just don't cut it.

That being said: Fox better not fuck it up.

I understand. One must be injected with new, fresh doses of Eliza. Finally the suppliers have realized there's a demand and are going to start sending out weekly shipments, lol.

That being said: Fox better not fuck it up.

I feel like this is asking the rain to rain less, but yeah, I hope so too. Even if it's just dumb luck I hope this show makes it. I really can't take Fox crushing my heart again. And it's Eliza and JOSS! *wants this show to do well so badly*
